[Rewarded Review] Cuisinart Pizza Stone

This is an exact replacement for a pizza stone I had for 26yrs. I'm having a hard time understanding the cleaning instructions for this new one. Of course, a Cuisinart Pizza Stone Brush is recommended however we cleaned our previous stone with soap & water & a Scotch pad sponge like the rest of our dishes. It lasted 26yrs doing that. It would still be with us if I'd not dropped it.

Purchased two for a pizza party. Works best if you can season them a bit before use....our pizza stuck on it at first, but we didn't season it. Will last for many years of great pizza.

Use only for Pizza

I bought this to replace a Pampered Chef stone that broke. It is not as big if you need a bigger one. I used the Pampered Chef stone for other things. I used this the first time to bake garlic knots. The butter/garlic in the bread made a spot on the stone that I could not get off. I also have not used it for pizza yet. All in all if used for pizza, it probably would be fine.

Love this thing, made my first pizzas easily inside a Weber grill. Also great inside grill or oven for warming a quiche or anything like that. Also: a great hotplate/trivet for the dining room table for those meals coming straight out of the oven. Thanks cheers

It has Helped me regulate the heat in my propane oven in my camper.

I had a piece of stone years ago, but I did not know how to use it. I did not realize that you actually had to heat it for about 45 minutes to an hour at high temperature in order to be successful with making basically brick oven style pizza

I have purchased two of this items one for camping and another for home use, I have used it for camping, making pizza on campfire I did use a cast iron skillet big enough to cover with hot pieces of firewood on to of the skillet did give a delicious crisp pizzas, perfect love it.

Worked well as a stone in our grill
