Great pot, especially locking lid with holes for pouring off excess water. I love it for my macaroni and potato salads! I don’t need to get out colander nor have my husband pour into colander, I can do it myself now.

This really works! What a great way to cook and drain pasta. I only wish the pot was a bit bigger. One lb of penne fit, but its a bit small for 1lb (a whole box) of spaghetti.
Very nice 6 qt pot for pastaat a good price. We just rec’d the pot and needed to get dinner ready fast that day. Cuisinart instructions say never to cook a pot on high heat. We almost always boil water on high on an electric stove. Cuisinart recommended med high for boiling. So it may be a wait for water to boil to keep the item from degrading. Thank you.

Since those pot handles not covered you will have to use oven mitts to pick up the pot to carry to the sink!!
