Great exfoliant and combination of ingredients

I didn’t read the product description before purchasing and thought this was a wash-off peel but didn’t mind as I use the Kiehl’s Glycolic Acid so I’m used to using these kinds of exfoliants. It’s a great combination of exfoliators and works well to keep my skin soft, glowing and keep breakouts at bay. If you don’t regularly use chemical exfoliants they can cause your skin to purge and you get breakouts but this congestion was already there the product didn’t create them! I see so many reviews saying products like this gave them blemishes, those blemishes were already there and it brought them to the surface because that’s what they are meant to do. Sure it sux but once those blemishes clear and with consistent use it will reduce the incidence of congestion and subsequent blemishes.

My first time using a serum

Serums are not a product that I use often. I usually keep by facial routine simple. I tend to just use a cleaner, toner, and a moisturizer on top of that, so I was excited to add something new to my regimen. The Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Daily Daily Re-Texturizing Triple Acid Peel Serum seems like it will have long term benefits to my skin. It contains a variety of acids that help to make the skin feel smoother, younger, and more elastic over time. I did not notice that much of a difference at first. I think it takes a couple of months of using before one can really notice the benefits. I use this serum at night in place of my toner. I add a little bit to a cotton pad and apply it to my face before putting on my night cream or moisturizer. I get a slight tingle when I put it in my face, but other than that, it has a nice, clean scent and goes on easily. After a few uses, I can feel that my skin feels a little softer and I do not see the dry spots that I sometimes get. Other than that, I will continue to use the product, because I think I will notice a more dramatic effect with long term use.

After 2-3 weeks of using Khiel’s Clearly Corrective Daily Re-Texturizing Triple Acid Peel + Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol Serum duo, my skin does feel smoother with less clogged pores. I was especially glad to see that this duo was effective and also gentle enough on my skin not to break it out like other acid/retinol products I’ve tried in the past (I used this product 2x a day and the retinol serum once a day). I paired this duo with some hydrating serums and did not feel dry. Also my skin tone evened out overall and recent blemish scars faded pretty quickly.

Great product!

It's been three days since my second treatment. My EXCESSIVLY oily skin I used to suffer from is like gone! No BS. I do not have to blot nearly as often, only about twice a day. My skin tone is more even. My scars are already more faint. I even "picked" a scar off while shaving the other morning to discover even toned skin underneath. My face is clear except for a few spots. I have three small nodules; two that would have been cysts on my jaw line and one on my temple that would have been one of those deep soar under the skin mountains. They are currently small, I mean small, small little bumps. All other acne...gone. I use my skin routine described above still, I use a BP spot treatment on the three bumps also in the day. I used a mud mask (the origins black one) once since my first treatment. Some helpful tips, keep away from your eyes and the soft skin underneath. Close them really tight when rinsing off so the water with the product doesn't get into your eyes. Splash rinse cool water fast and constant so nothing is on your eyelids too long during the rinse period. Same goes for lips. Use a calming moisturizer after. Peeling has not been an issue for me. Did have some mild happen, my moisturizer took care of it.

Clearly a difference for the better!

I am 65 years old and have pretty good skin. Thanks, genetics! However, there is no getting around wrinkles and large pores as you age. I've been using the Kiehl's Triple Acid Peel twice a day for several weeks now. I also have been using Kiehl's Retinol Skin renewing Daily Microdose Serum. Talk about a one two punch. Even in my SimpleHuman magnifying light up mirror that shows every single tiny chin hair, it is sooo obvious that my pores have absolutely shrunk in size and my skin is smoother and more uniform. The few deeper wrinkles seem a bit more shallow as well, but nothing really dramatic.(Not that it was expected). I'm very pleased with these products and will definitely continue using both. Highly recommend for mature skin!

Magic in a Bottle!

This product is amazing! I’ve loved the Kiehl’s line for years so I was so excited to try this! For reference, I am 44 with some sun damage from my younger years 😩 I have combination skin that tends to lean on the more sensitive side with a super oily t-zone.

Smoother skin texture

I'm giving these products a 4 star only because I have only been using it 2 weeks and feel need more time to see full results. I've used Clearly Corrective™ Daily Re-Texturizing Triple Acid Peel & Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol Serum with Ceramides and Peptide every morning and night and have seen a slight difference in the appearance of my skin. Again, I think with longer use my results will be even better.

Surprisingly gentle chemical exfoliant

I was a little nervous to try a "triple acid peel" because I was scared that it'd be too harsh or irritating to my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I tried this as my sole serum with a gentle skincare routine (cleanser, serum, basic moisturizer) and I was pleasantly surprised! I found that my small whiteheads on my forehead and cheeks were accelerated in healing due to the exfoliation and I didn't feel any sense of irritation, tingling, or pain. However, I would not use this daily. Personally, I'd use this 2x a week in addition to a retinol on a separate day. I have tried this a day apart from retinol and did not experience any irritation due to this serum.
