The size of this is bigger then I had hoped for. I am not looking for something so bulky. It does have a speed control but I wish it went lower than off, but it doesn’t

Not perfect

I did not realize it has two outlets for air and they are not controlled independently or can shut one of them off. Seems underpowered to run two large airstones. It is quiet.

Danner ap 4 air pump. Don't do it

Extremely weak air pump. I have a 5 gallon tank with a sponge filter 3 fr. Below this air pump, and it barely has enough pressure to blow a few bubbles. Never again

Noisy pump!!!

Terribly noisy pump. Never again. Of course, made in China. Throwing it away since the cost of shipping,a return box plus the shipping hassles to take it to the nearest PO is too cost prohibitive for the $20 purchase.. Going back to using Whisper pumps like I have for the past 30 years. Remember: If you're returning anything to Foster and Smith you are entirely responsible for all costs even if it's considered defective. I've bought from these fine people before but haven't returned anything. Very prompt shipping.

Major Problems

I got the AP-8 verI really want to like this air pump but it just has too many problems, and I'll be getting a replacement soon.

A must have for every tank

Top Aerator

No finer "bubbler" for the money. Period.

I have had it for a month. So far so good. Quiet, efficient, good amount of air coming through. Using it for a 20g and a 15g. No heavy duty use.

Good for the Price

I have the "Ap-3" 3 W version of the pump. It's not super quiet, but considering the price, it's not too bad. I also have an Eheim 200, which is much much quieter, but also more than 4X the price.

Does the Job

Plenty of air going to multiple sponge filters in my 55's and 29 gal tanks. Quiet enough to have in my bedroom. Like the metal valves stems so they don't break off.

This Air Pump Packs a Big Punch!

Purchased the Aqua Supreme air pump based upon the Danner name, which is well known to us veteran fish hobbyists.

Great small pump at an even smaller price

This is larger than what I needed to pump air into a 5.5gallon fry tank but at the price I paid why would you not? Really quiet except when you allow the pump to push air unrestricted but all my pumps are like that (all my air pumps are louder when I fully allow the air to flow so turn it down and it quiets down).

Very quiet operation and provides enough air for multiple tanks
