Lovely chairs, one minor issue

We bought 4 of these stools in August 2023. The color and style was exactly like I hoped and they are more comfortable than I originally thought they'd be while assembling them. We had a problem with one of them upon assembly but were able to get it replaced and resolved quickly (the base and legs were not level when assembled, 2 of the legs were shorter than the others). Recently, one of the chairs "sank" when I sat in it. Upon inspection we realized that one of the cross braces on the base/seat had come unglued and there didn't seem to be a horizontal dowel holding it in place, only the glue. We were able to sink a screw into it and it's good as new now. Time will tell if this was a unique defect, or all the chairs will have a similar problem with use. Happy with the purchase overall.

Beautiful chair BUT 2 of the 4 that we purchased had minor problems. On one chair, the screws that hold the cross-bars to the legs didn't fit. It appeared the pre-drilled holes were too big for the screws provided. Another had something that appeared to be mold or mildew on the wood beneath the chair. I would have exchanged those 2 but the returns are so much trouble that my husband felt it would be easier to buy bigger wood screws and clean the mold/mildew with Borax. I hope his repairs work. I LOVE the 2 that didn't have problems. If we didn't have problems with two of the chairs I would have given them 5 stars.

Plush Big Swivel Counter Stools

I bought these in blue. They are plush and comfy to sit on. A really good size seat. The swivel is exactly what I was looking for. I must advise they were a challenge to put together. So I would add overstocks service to assemble them. I hired a handyman. But love the finished product!

This is a beautiful counter height swivel chair. It is larger than I thought it would be so check your width dimensions for your space before ordering. The "stretcher bars" between the legs do not go on easily. I was able to get the three (3) bars on the left, right , and rear OK, but the front bar needs to have either a longer screw (1 1/2" wallboard screw) or, even better, a separate screw that drills into the bar from the side of the chair and counter sunk to hide it. Then, a wooden plug insert to hide the screw hole. If this is not done, the bar will fall off when you put your feet on it to rest and push down even slightly.

Horrible fabric and quality.

I wanted to love these chairs. They are beautiful to look at but that's about it. I have had these chairs for a year and a half in a pet and kid free home. One of them them the foot bar came loose even screwed in. Another the swivel mechanism came loose and when we tried to fix it, the screw area was stripped out from small swivels in and out of the chair. But worst of all is that fabric pills horribly. They barely get use but look like I have had them for years. The fabric is terrible. For the money these are so disappointing. I wish i could return them.

Don't buy!

This was my first purchase and my last. I expected the quality to be far better than what I received. I assembled only one chair and it's so uncomfortable I will probably never assemble the second one. The seat feels like I'm tilting forward even though a level tool shows it's level, it's not assembled incorrectly. Because it's assembled I can't return it and the cost to return the I assembled chair, something this heavy, I don't even want to check. A $*** purchase that I won't even use. I'm very disappointed and will never buy from you again. I would give it a zero if I could.

I was reluctant to order my these two chairs online because this type of product would normally be something that I would prefer to look at in person, however, I was not disappointed!! The fabric and overall workmanship of the chairs is perfect! The seat height of 27" is perfect for the counter height. I looked at another chair on another website that was much more expensive with a 24" seat height and was glad that I picked this one. The swivel mechanism is tight, but not too tight. It swivels comfortably without hitting the countertop which can eventually cause damage to the chair, countertop or both. The swivel, after using, returns the chair to the face forward position, so never having to do it manually. I really like the wing-back style with the nail heads. Very classic! Thank you for a great product!

We love them!

Very nice and sturdy counter stools. They are very comfortable and I can see ourselves spending time on them. The back is wide and has the perfect high to hug your back. We bought 3 grey ones (the color is off to olive) for our kitchen island and they fit great with our kitchen style and tones. The legs are distressed, perfect style for our wood-like tile floor. The material of the seats is thick with silver trimming and it seems very forgiving and easy to clean up. We are very surprised with their quality just out of the box (came very well packaged) and we will recommend them. The swivel is also a great plus, since we have a child and we expect her to keep going on and off the chairs. It took my husband about an hour to put them together, after the first one he knew how it goes. One of the chairs came with a missing floor slider (that plastic piece at the bottom of the legs that protects the floor from scratches) but I'm sure we can find a replacement at *** since Overstock does not provide replacements for this product.

Great price, love the nailhead trim but...

After several other barstools and returns we finally settled on these stools. Our whole family loves them...they are big and chunky and give our 7' island some weighty balance. However, only 3 stars because just like another reviewer stated...we have now had a base piece fall apart after only 1 week!!! The piece is the horizontal bar that connects the legs as support. An actual piece of wood split off from this cross bar where it connects into the barstool leg. Now that I have 3 of them and love them, I will not pay the shipping to return (unless this starts happening to the other 2). I guess I will buy some wood glue and try to fix it myself. I will say...I do not have young kids who stand on the horizontal support...these are not the quality for that type of weight on a daily basis.
