This is one of the best purchases I've made in years. It is strong and extremely sturdy. The amount of shoes, jackets, purses, hats...I could go on and on. Has made a huge difference in clean up in that area

The product was difficult to put together. The screws came open inside the package. The black washers were super difficult to put between the frame. Assembly was not fun at all. Took hours to put together. Need to use hammer, drill, and elbow grease. I would not recommend this to anyone let alone a friend. Overall: sucks
Not worth it, should have spent the extra money
Unable to screw the bench into the frame. The screws are short and they don’t hold into the bottom of the cushion, which apears to be cheap particle board. Also it seems as though there should be two different sides to the frame based on the holes the screws go into and I received two of the same side.
Sturdy, Sweet and simple.
Fits perfectly in the space. Exactly what I had pictured. Holds what I need it to hold. Perfect height to sit and put your shoes on in the morning. Complementary to the decor without taking over.

Love it!!! Very sturdy and just like the picture. Looks perfect and just the right size for my entryway. My kids love it too, the sit on the bench to put on their shoes instead of a the stairs or the floor.

hall tree is very nice and perfect size for the spot I bought it for my grandson put it together for me and he always lays out all the pieces in order so it is easier to assemble only problem was that the shelves didn't have predrilled holes to attach to rods but it was easy to fix with drill or you can just leave the screws off shelves fit fine without them

Very well made product. The cushion is perfect and it was easy to assemble. I do wish that the top part when up a little higher, my head hits the bottom hook if I were to lean back while sitting on the bench. (I am 5'8")

Gorgeous! And real easy putting it together, so glad....
Perfect for my space
I'm going to start by saying this product comes with 12 screws I never used. But I don't feel they are absolutely necessary to the safety or usefulness of it. The bench sits nicely and doesn't seem to wiggle around despite the fact I didn't screw it to the base. And for the bottom shelf, I taped enough cardboard around the middle beams of the bottom of the base before putting the shelf down so the whole shelf "floats" atop the base (but you don't see the cardboard). That being said...
A couple design flaws but overall love it
The hall tree is exactly what I needed for my entry way. However a couple of modifications are needed to the design as the bench does not fit down into the structure so there is a 3/4" gap between the bench and the rail that you'd screw the bench to. We ripped plywood to fill the gap and bought longer screws. Pre-drilling the bottom shelf would make that easier to assemble too.

Screws too short
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. As others have mentioned the screws that come included in the box are far too short to actually hold the bench down, so we used our own. It was difficult to drill even the larger screws into the bench portion. Other than that, The bench is pretty sturdy and the hall tree overall fits right where I needed it in our entryway.

Item is exactly as pictured and I like it but... as other reviews stated the screws sent to hold the seat and shelf are too short (worthless)
