Bought these bc it looked super easy to install and then soon found out… When you remove the plastic shelve to stick on the carpet… It’s not sticky at all! Had to run to Home Depot and buy my own adhesive Don’t waste your money … You can find something better for the price Do Not recommend at all

We love these stair treads! I have been looking for some for a while but everything looked either cheap and temporary or was very expensive We need something for our stairs as we have a toddler learning to navigate stairs and winter arriving which means socks and slippers Even with grips on the socks I've slipped before in the stairwell and wasn't willing to risk it These arrived well packaged and true to size I fully vacuumed and then hand washed the stairs and let them fully dry before I laid down the runners and they are very secure If you don't wipe down your stairs then even if you vacuum it likely they will be sticking to a thin layer of dust or dirt and may move around I found them very secure as long as they are applied to clean dry stairs The feel is plush and they look almost like carpet I do wish they offered custom sizes to fit all the way to the back of the stair but that would probably result in a higher cost These arrived quickly and so far we love them Excited to see how they wash since this is a well used stairway so they are going to need it in a few months Happy so far!

We recently moved into a house that is 100 years old with original hardwood flooring While the stairs are gorgeous they aren’t the comfiest to walk on and I didn’t want to see them get ruined I took a chance on these carpet treads and wow wow wow am I so happy with them! They are soft and plush making it much nicer to walk up and down the stairs They are also very slip resistant when walking on them yet somehow so easy to adjust and reposition without damaging the wood at all I don’t understand the science behind it but I am extremely impressed with the quality and would absolutely buy these again in the future!

One of our greyhounds is terrified of the stairs and she’s been leaping off the 2nd or 3rd step to get down We have been searching for over 2 years to find something that wouldn’t slip around and we weren’t constantly adjusting them THESE STICK!! Yet they’re easy to remove if you want to clean underneath Easy to install incredible plush underfoot and the greyhound trots right on down the stairs!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Purchased these to go on our hardwood steps because our corgi would not go down these steps They stay in place and look beautiful! Our corgi loves being able to have his independence to follow us downstairs Great design! Thank you!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but these carpet treads deserve a good one The way they cling to my wood stairs is such an improvement over carpet tape! There’s no tape gunk or stickiness and I also like that the tread fronts are bull nosed and wrap around the front of the steps it makes them look a little plusher I’ve only had them for a couple weeks so can’t speak to the quality of the carpet itself and don’t know how well they will wear over time for under $120 I’m not expecting highquality but for now they are ridiculously comfortable under my feet and they’re a huge difference over treads with less plushy pile The last bonus is that most treads ship as a set of 13 My stairs have a landing with a couple more stairs going to the 2nd floor so I needed 14 I loved that I didn’t have to buy another set just for one tread! 👍🏼 Overall they are way better than I expected!

I absolutely love my Pure Era treads, I was definitely hesitant on how they would look, but they are exactly as stated, PLUSH and they compliment my wood stairs. One of the main reasons I got them is so that my manager snail her puppy to go up and down the stairs, he loves them too mission accomplished!

When we changed our carpet stairs to wooden stairs my dog had such a hard time going up and down them I bought cheap carpet stair treads and they were terrible they slid all over the place so I bought grip strips to help from slipping Still didn't work I bought these carpet stair treads they are amazing They are so soft on your feet and they do not move I got the ones that cover the bullnose They fit perfectly They are also extremely easy to put down I wanted to see if they would restick if removed and they do! I would recommend Lesson learned you get what you pay for

They are plush. There is a very thin shiny white paper backing that is just a little sticky. They stay on for now. I will carpet tape them if they loosen, but if I do, I know it will rip off the thin paper back if I have to move them. Minus a star for the backing which should be thicker and able to attach carpet tape without ruining it. The brown I ordered is a nice mocha brown.

These stair tread covers are amazing and I highly recommend! They look beautiful, are very plushy, and stick really well to our hardwood stairs with no damage to the finish upon removal. They are washable too. Definitely worth the expense. We bought cheap before and they didn’t stick and slid constantly becoming a safety hazard. These treads hold steady and do not slip at all. These are perfect for kids and pets.

Carpet treads are very plush. They attach easily to stairs and are very secure and comfortable. We love them, as do our dogs. These really dressed up up our otherwise boring staircase!

After seeing how crazy expensive carpet bullnose stair treads are I decided to give these a shot They’re actually pretty great for the price The carpet is surprisingly soft and dense The down sides: the adhesive on the back doesn’t stick at all I attempted to stick them to very clean multipletimes sanded painted with a flat finish so not shiny or slippery cleaned again wooden stairs and they did not stick whatsoever The plastic backing was also really annoying to peel off in small bits My solution? A staple gun with black staples Did the trick I have also noticed the bullnose portion doesn’t quite tuck around the existing bullnose on my stair tread so it’s a little bit uncomfortable if you step directly on that part as it could not be squished down even with me standing on it Again: if you’re on a budget and want a full set of carpet stair treads that look and feel nice but take a little extra work to put down buy these Even with the “cons” I don’t regret this purchase

Thick and plush like real carpet love the bullnose Looks so nice on our stairs Yes the cellophane is a little hard to get off but not that difficult Hoping they last as good as they look and LOVE it’s not actual adhesive ruining my wood stairs Whatever it is works very well! Only treads I’ll buy from now on

These were the perfect addition to my hardwood stairs, adding both a layer of warmth and most definitely safety. The quality of the carpet treads far exceeds my expectations, I especially appreciate there is no need for additional tape or adhesive. No regrets with my purchase after installing approximately one month ago.

My elderly dog was having trouble going up and down stairs We tried other treads but decided she needed the bullnose feature to make her feel secure The application was easy We have not tried to remove or reposition so I can't speak to that feature but they do stay in place Initially I thought the price was a little high but after she fell a few times I realized her safety is priceless! She's one happy pup! I bought 2 sets: the lighter color is Cream Gray which is more like a beige; the darker color is Camel Brown which is like milk chocolate

Looks great sticks without tape and our dog is now safe as well! We just got this carpet to help our dog from slipping on the stairs We love our hard wood stairs and were worried that the carpet would take away from their appeal but we are very pleased with their finished look! They're very easy to place just vacuu and mop your stairs and let dry Next just peel the backing off of each carpet piece and place it onto each step and press down securely and thoroughly They do not need carpet tape but if you are deliberately trying to peel them they will come off; this is on purpose so you can wash / clean them and replace them back onto your stairs! Our dogloves them as well and can move up and down our stairs much quicker and safely now!

The pieces are easy to install however the manufacturer uses a very weird plastic sheeting to cover the adhesive on the back The first couple of pieces that I worked with took more time to get all of the plastic off than it took for me to adhere them to the step! It kept splitting as I peeled it so I had to use a razor blade to lift the remaining pieces and peel everything off so all the adhesive was exposed Fastening it to the step only took a matter of seconds I used a small block of wood to place the carpet against for every step so the pieces were all centered perfectly After a few pieces I figured out that if I used a razor blade and "etched" the plastic all the way around it peeled off much easier See attached pictures and video I also show in one of the videos how it will be helpful to bend the "bullnose" part to help it adhere solidly to the front edge of the step Out of the box they were greater than a 90° angle which means that upon fasting them to the step the adhesive has to do extra work to hold that piece in place If you bend them so that they are LESS than 90° when you attach them everything will be more snug and the adhesive won't have to work as hard 😉 Once all of my pieces were installed I had my dogs test it out and I could tell they were very pleased! No more slipping falling I'm glad I made this purchase!

Highly recommend! I really was skeptical that these stair protectors would look halfway decent AND stay in place But wow! I would not call these only protectors They are more than that They are quite attractive and an excellent low cost design option to fully carpeting or runner capreting any wood stairs So far these stair covers have not slipped nor barely moved on each stair despite our pet and multiple family members running up and down Another plus is that our creaky stairs are somewhat less creaky sounding now No offgassing smell Only complaint is that we have 15 stairs so need to purchase an extra in addition to the 14pack But happy to do so! And super happy with this purchase You can't NOT buy these
