Nice planter

Got this in winter, so haven't won't have a chance to fill it with flowers until Spring. Initial opinion is that is is a very nice planter. I like the style and appearance quite a bit. Love the fact that is is made of recycled plastic. Anything to reduce plastic in our oceans and landfills in a good thing. I do think that the plastic is a little thinner than I'd like to see. A little worried that it may become brittle in a year or two and the thinness won't help guard against that. A little surprised that the pot does not have a removable plug in the bottom that allows you the option to remove for drainage. I'll end up having to drill a hole in the bottom myself. Not a big deal, but most planters I buy come with that removable plug.

Good product, inaccurate description

First of all, the description of this is not correct. The description on the review says it is a 15 inch planter box, whereas, another description that was sent to me for the review says it is 16 inches. Neither is correct. The top of the pot measures 12 inches square, it tapers down to 9 inches at the bottom. The height is about 10 1/2 inches.

Sturdy plastic planter

I got this to transplant my sage into a larger pot and it looks great. The planter comes with optional holes on the bottom that were easy to punch out with a screw driver and a mallet. I tested the drainage after I watered my plant and they seemed to drain very well when I put the pot on a mat to test this. The planter itself is a great blue color and feels very sturdy. I like that there’s a lip on the edge so it’s easy to carry when moving it around the patio. The fact it’s made in the USA from ocean plastics is a pretty cool design feature - awesome to be using something recycled for my herb gardening!

Bottom is sealed and has 4 feet to prevent mold and mildew.

Lovely box planter!

I love this planter! It’s very roomy and reasonably priced. But the best thing is it’s made from 100% recycled material from the ocean and post-consumer plastic. It’s also light-weight which I appreciate as I sometimes have to move it to get it out of the elements when the weather turns very cold. It has optional drill-out drainage holes. The blue color is lovely.

Very nice color and shape.

Ocean Blue - Dayton 16 in. Recycled Plastic Square Box Planter Is very nice looking. I like the square design of it. Its different then all the round ones I have, So a nice change. The shade of blue is a very nice color and adds a colorful spot in my garden. It’s made from recycled plastic so good for the planet. You do need to drill holes in the bottom so your plants don’t drown .

The Dayton Square Box Planter by Bloem is made from 100% recycled plastic

When I saw this planter I was extremely pleased. It was made of 100% recycled plastic. It sported sealed bottom to prevent leakage and also had drill out drainage holes. It will hold a large plant with up to 18 quarts of soil. The Turtle Green color matched the green trim around our house making it fit right in the landscape. It can be used indoors or outdoors. It is light weight and has protective UV resistance to protect against fading.

Rigid and Study 15" Planter in Blue

I like this multipurpose Planter that has a 12" interior opening at the top but measures 15" rim to rim. The inside bottom is designed with tall slats and you can put another pot inside that measures 6" at the base, or you can just fill this planter with dirt and plant anything. The base does not have holes already, so you'll want to drill some drainage holes. This nice planter works well for indoor or outdoor plants and is made of recycled plastic, and has some small footings at each corner so it sits off the floor.

Just what I was looking for and liked the price and fast delivery.

Pretty blue

Very pretty blue, I put pencil holly in two of these by my front door. I will have to get a larger size when they get bigger but for now they are just perfect.

These pots were just what I needed and look very nice on my patio.
