Beautifully made faux books

I absolutely LOVE these books. They are strong, sturdy and really quite beautiful. They are padded with a soft leather like covering which and there is plenty of room inside for trinkets. I used the two smaller ones in my bookcase and was actually able to put one on a night table with a lamp on top.

These are very well made and look great. They seem a little thicker looking than the photos but that isn't a bad thing. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful item; awful stickers hard to remove

They are sturdy and beautiful. I would’ve given them five stars, except that the nasty excessive stickers and glue are extremely difficult to remove, and lifted the color off of the surface.

I purchased this for a friend’s 67th birthday recently. I suggested that he and his wife use these books for certain things. Important things car keys or even jewelry; these books will just enhance their dresser.

Like the idea...hate the stickers on them

I actually really like this look and enjoy that they could be used to hide items on a shelf. The only issue is that they each have a white sticker on the back and it is darn near impossible to remove. Thankfully, I have them on a shelf and you can't see I left them on. Have had these for 5 years and they are as nice as the day I bought.

Nice Leather Book Box. It looks so nice on my end table . Its a dark and rich looking. The only thing is it came with 3 label stickers on each book that are not fun to remove

Beautiful Books - Ruinous Stickers on Them

I love the books but the huge stickers ruin the back and no matter how hard I tried, removing them damaged the leather.

Good product, but stickers are terrible

I love these book boxes. The faux leather is plusher than I expected, but it still looks great. The boxes are just what I was looking for, and they were very well-wrapped for shipping. The issue is the label stickers. They are so far impossible to get off. There are three large stickers on the back of each box, and they tear while you're pulling them off. I can't get the entirety of any sticker off the back of the boxes, and I've already left some nail marks around them. If you can get off the stickers without damaging the boxes, I'm very impressed with you--please teach me your secrets. Luckily, I'm stacking my books horizontally, so it's not a huge issue for me to have sticker scraps. It's just pretty disappointing because the product is great otherwise.

Books are great for storage and look great except for the stickers. Couldn't you spend 89 cents extra for removable stickers. The synthetic material makes removing tricky and use limited. No success yet.

Y ruin something so pretty purposely?

These are absolutely beautiful except the manufacturer put huge stickers all over the Beautiful cover. I know 1 is required by law the other 2 I'm not so sure. Anyway a little baby oil or furniture oil cuts right thru the sticky mess. I would avoid olive oil bcuz of the smell. They are so beautiful. I'm using the largest 1 for my makeup and the middle size for my brushs. I put the brushes in a sealed plastic envelope to avoid any makeup dust. Both sit on my mirrored tray & every1 can't keep their hands off. I'm getting 2 more sets for a friend and myself. When I find something this incredible I buy 2 incase they become unavailable. You are going to love these. There is no way you couldn't.

Fantastic

Great little accent piece. Looks like a real book from a short distance, and it's roomy enough to house whatever papers or valuables you may want to hide.

I loved the look and feel of these books but took off a star because the stickers on the bottom are extremely difficult to remove with damaging the appearance. Great decorative pieces, I use them to store my TV remotes and any small items.

Vintage looking and very attractive piece of decor

This leather book box set is very attractive, but I am only giving this a 3 star review because I have to return my set as it was missing the middle sized book. Overstock is always gracious and has easy returns, so I am returning my set in exchange for a new set. Overall, good quality, fantastic coloring, deep enough to store small items and very attractive.

I feel bad giving this a 4 rating because the books are perfect. I love them, I love the texture as they look like books . The problem are the stickers they put on boxes. I hope someone reads this that matters because this is so important. Please don't put stickers on things where it will be a permanent mark. Even after removing- which was very hard to get off you can see where sticker was. It also forced me to not be able to show the side sticker on. So I can only arrange 1 way. I honestly was so upset I feel should be given discount for this condition. However, these are beautiful books and I would have given perfect score if not for the sticker marks. I purchased 2 sets and they look resl and give beautiful interest to my shelves. Why not just put a sticker inside the box or a sticker that is a cling that easily removes without a mark. Hope this helps everyone.

They are very nice, the leather is nice and sturdy... They are excellent for decor but the bonus is being able to store cards and memo's in them on the night stand... I love them...
