It would be better with a bigger lip to keep the cushion in place. Polyewood would just need to drop the slates to the lower portion of the frame instead of centering them in the frame.

Amazing quality, outdoor furniture. Definitely 5 Star!!! I had some difficulty, however easy enough to assemble for this 64 y/o woman. I purchased the 4 piece Lakeside, and although challenging for my physical limitations, I was able to complete the furniture assembly.

Perfect with the swivel chairs.

Super easy to put together. Perfect height for the deep seating swivel chair and also comfortable as an additional seat on our screened porch. The green boucle is not as nubby or bright as pictured, but monitors vary and I love them as they are.

Defective Parts and Non-existent Customer Service

My furniture was defective when I received it. I have tried multiple ways to contact the company and they will not respond. Their so called "LIVE" chat is not live. There is no way to get an actual agent in chat. It is only a useless chatbot. When I called customer service, a computer told me my wait time would be 41 minutes. I submitted a ticket on the website 10 days ago. Still no response from them. This is clearly a scam company. Do not buy from them.

Overall, this is a sturdy ottoman. We purchased to match deep seating pieces. The reason for only 3 star rating is that there is no way to affix the cushion to the top and it constantly moves about on the piece. It would have been 5 stars if I could affix the cushion while it's in use

I wish the cushion set

I wish the cushion set in deeper to the base so it doesn’t slide off so easily. I still haven’t been able to use my loveseat with the ottoman as planned since I have been missing a piece and holes were not drilled all the way through the frame. It’s going on 3 weeks and they are still processing my request and I can’t use my furniture.

So Comfortable and Not Scared of Leaving Them Out in Rainy Weather

Purchased the Country Cottage Deep Seat chairs along with the these ottomans. They were sized as described and come with removable covers. They do not have a velcro/tie attachment but do nestle approx. 1/8” on frame so unless you’re in extreme wind conditions, should be fine. Ours are under a covered porch but it does get windy here and everything does get wet. Aside from carpet blowing up (gorilla carpet tape solved mostly) all cushions were fine. Took about 6 weeks of going back and forth to make the chair, ottoman and after, end table purchases but was so impressed with comfort, quality and company 25+ yr guarantee on frames that after the first product, I was sold!

We also purchased the chair and end table three piece set along with the ottoman. LOVE all of it. Assembled easily and within an hour we had all pieces, 4 total, together and sitting and enjoying it. Highly recommend Polywood

Ottoman

Great Product. Looks exactly like the picture. Frame has a good weight. Cushion is about 5 inches thick. Should match the set of chairs I purchased elsewhere.

I love my polywood seating set! It has transformed our patio and is holding up terrific. One small issue is that the cushion on the ottoman is not a perfect fit in my opinion. I contacted the manufacturer and was told this is the correct cushion for the ottoman. I have gotten used to it so not worth returning.

Love it!

We absolutely love all our Polywood furniture. It seems to always be raining in the east coast now and it weathers so well. The water just sits on top. Dries up fast. And just looks beautiful. The ottomans were great touch. They do slide off but no biggie. Once you put your feel up stays in place. Good weight, durable and just beautiful outdoor furniture.

Very poorly built

Unlike other reviews, I don't have a problem with cushion sliding as i found a hack using canvas boat pins and elastic straps attached to cushion. That part is easy. The 1 star is due to the prefab parts. Not one of the holes as predrilled aligned with the holes in the leg assembly. There is only one way that the legs can fit together and I tried the opposite leg assembly on each side. Nothing aligned and i ordered 2 of these. If we were not in search for these and then get them shipped for an event, i would have sent them back, but I have a drill, so I redrilled pilot holes in the base and carefully screwed in screws to attach leg assembly. Also had to back out several screws that attach leg to cross bar as they were not all the way in and had been stripped. FUN! NOT! Took me about 45 minutes to do the assembly of each and now they are solid and put together properly. The quality and quality control at Polywood leaves a lot to be considered. I also did not catch that they are offered in another finish for $40 more. Already a poor value, but the finish they come in is not good if all your other poly looks like wood. I would not recommend this product!

Not worth the money.

We like the Polywood brand. We have many of their outdoor seating options. We've loved everything except these. They are sturdy but the cushion just sets on top of the base. There's nothing to hold it into place like a strap, clip or simply a deeper edge to it wedges into place. Unless your legs are straight out holding down the cushion it easily shifts or falls off. If the wind picks up you'll be chasing these across your yard. I just don't feel they are worth what I paid for them. It's expensive furniture and they should have taken the time to get it right.

Love it, but had to knock off one star

I love this material. We bought a table with 6 chairs, 2 deep seating chairs, and 2 of these ottomans. I knocked off one star on these because the holes did not line up good like it did on all the other items we bought. It is beautiful and sturdy. Very happy with the purchase.

THE CUSHIONS WERE BEAUTIFUL AND MADE WELL. UNFORTUNATELY, THE CUSHIONS SAT ON TOP OF THE FRAME LOOSLEY AND DID NOT HAVE A SPACE FOR THE CUSHIONS TO SIT INTO. THIS PRESENTS A PROBLEM IN THE WIND AND JUST SIMPLY MOVING YOUR LEGS ON AND OFF.

Slippery

I am very happy with sofa, chair, ottoman & tables that I ordered except for one thing. I have Fiberon decking and your furniture slides too easily as it is plastic on plastic. Frankly, slides to the point that chair, in particular, is dangerous. I am now in the process of trying to find a solution as rubber pads do not fit chair legs.

We keep adding pieces

We really like our new polywood furniture! We added two ottomans to the lakeside deep seating set. We live in Texas, by a lake and the winds can really pick up around our home. This leads to the two main reasons we chose polywood furniture. (1) It stays in place when we get high winds. The furniture is light enough to move by one person but heavy enough to not blow over in high winds. (2) When we walk up to the furniture, we can clearly see underneath it. There are no hiding spaces for snakes or critters to hide in or hide under. We are so pleased with polywood furniture, we will soon be adding Adirondack chairs to our newly built out patio extension.
