OptiPlex All-in-One

So far I'm very pleased with the product (two weeks in use). I use it in a home office for my "side-gig". The resolution of the monitor is amazing. I appreciate the large screen and the ability to partially configure the final product.

Plug and pray

The new Optiplex is running well. Purchased with MS Office 2024, which didn't download properly, and there are repeated prompts to buy MS Office 365 which I don't need or want. Was told by Dell that transferring data/files/ apps, programs, etc. would be easy, but that is not the case at all. Dell rep sent me the link for DellMigrate as the tool for the transfer. Turns out it's not available for Optiplex. Had to get a local PC tech expert in to do the transfer, as it was a messy process, with some files not moving over, some not correct, and still have some odd issues. Dell rep also told me based on existing computer that 512 GB hard drive was good. Not at all, and had to go out and purchase an external hard drive. Keyboard is a nice size, but a little hard to see sometimes, as the letters/numbers are a bit thin.

We are a boarsing kennel. We use our computers with a program designed for us. We also use quick books. We are all appreciating our increased speed.

Worst PC Ever, and the Customer Service to Match!

I have had Dell computers for 28 years. This one was a great disappointment. From day one, it has had issues. I was able to transfer all my data, but as soon as that was done, it was having booting issues. It is stuck in a loop that only allows me to work in "safe mode." After losing more than 3 days of work to the problem (thousands of dollars) and over hours worth of fees to my IT person, I decided to return it. They were going to send someone over to fix the problem so that I could delete the data, but now they are refusing to do that because I'm returning the computer. Now, they want me to either act like an IT person or pay mine to delete my data from the computer. This is the worst experience of customer service and quality that I have ever encountered.

computer and keyboard and mouse purchase

The computer itself seems wonderful but the mouse and keyboard are junky. I really thought they would be fine but one mouse has already quit working. I bought two computers at 2500. each and I guess I thought Dell would push out junk mice and keyboards with such a big purchase.

Poor delivery

Delivery was very bad. Paid for highest level delivery, fastest service. Work was farmed out to a logistics company who ended up delivering later than free ups ground would have done.
