As a vent, this thing works just as well as the rest of them. But I bought it for the heater and it ended up disappointing. I just wanted warm air to blow down, not even heat the room. Well the heater blows air that is barely above room temperature just a few inches away from the unit. The heating unit is really tiny. It’s the 1 inch wide grill-looking thing in the photos if you’re curious. The worst part is, and this may be incredibly important depending on your use, *the heat blows at an angle away from the unit*. In other words, do not expect to stand below the heater and get warm — you’ll have to stand about 2 feet away. I mitigated the problem by turning the plastic grill around since it is the grill that angles the heat (still scratching my head why it was designed this way), but even still the heat only blows out of the very edge of the unit. Another problem is that the mounting arms are too long. I have 12” between joists. I don’t think this is uncommon. Luckily I was able to improvise. This probably only works best in a tiny bathroom and only if you can get this at a good price.

I just replaced a VERY old rusted bathroom heater/fan, going to guess it was at least 40 years old. That thing was pretty loud so this new Delta is quieter for sure. This Delta is not super quiet but I'm sure it won't wake up anybody during the night, but compared to my old one it is a lot quieter and it has a """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""smooth"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" sound when the heater and fan is turned on. The only thing I don't like is the plastic vents in the sense that you cannot adjust the direction of the air flow. It is not a big deal and I still recommend this item. I purchased this heater/fan at the beginning of 2021 and my fan is still working as it should with zero problems. For other people that got a """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""bad"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" fan well that's kind of their fault because if a home owner and SPECIALLY an experienced electrician is supposed to test such devices before doing the actual connection up on the ceiling. You never ever do a full installation before verifying the unit works. That's just common sense. The manual actually tells you to do that as well. I like this fan and I still recommend it.

Had the fan for almost 2 years. It was a good replacement for the small bathroom I have. It was a little fussy to install. They placed the electrical connetion screws on the side of the unit that, based on the cross beams, hits the beam and so there was no room for a screw driver to open and close it. Biggest issue is the lack of any filter. Dust and hair built up on the fans very quickly and it is extremely hard to remove the build up because of the design of the fan blades. I have since added an inexpensive thin reticulated foam to inside surface of the grill and now build up is very low and cleaning is a lot easier. I can only imagine they did not include any sort of pre-filter to hit some rather arbitrary price point or because they hoped it would kill the unit sooner and you would have to buy another one. If so it seems par for the course for most companies these days, rather sad from my perspective.

Excellent service by Bee's. Fan so so, cover springs are too weak and will not allow grill to fit tightly against ceiling. Fan does work well otherwise.

The media could not be loaded. I do really like this. It was so easy to install- in fact, almost a direct replacement. I guess the old one was also a Delta? Still works after 20 years or more but I wanted something new and with an added heater! This unit is also very quiet even with both exhaust fan and heater running. The heater blows our pleasantly warm air and actually quite a lot of it! The blower is strong! The heater does blow out in the opposite direction of the exhaust fan so you have to plan that out before you install it. Ask yourself which direction you want it to heat. It doesn't blow straight down- it's slightly to the front or back. You could aim the heat toward the shower, for example. I will add a video so that you can see how quiet it is. Oh, and I was able to replace the light socket with a standard light socket from the old unit and I did that because I wanted to install an LED. It comes with a 26watt curly bulb, but I wanted my 13watt Daylight LED. Less energy but brighter, cleaner light. Just make sure nobody installs an old 100watt incandescent!! I'm sure this is why Delta uses the special bulb socket! 100-watt bulb would burn up the plastic light cover (which is exactly what happened to my old one from the previous house owner!)

Its a nice unit, very warm, very quiet, but note it only takes the (kind of obscure) 26W SBCFL bulb. I've had one burn out in one year of use, and the replacements are currently ~$18 on Home Essentials Direct:MaxLite MLS26GUWW6 GU24 Base Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb, 26-watt Update 12/25/17: Delta now offers a version built natively for LEDs, so that's an improvement, and my score is adjusted accordingly. Alternatively, there's an LED adapter for the older CFL version, and given the price drop on the older units (presumably to clear out old inventory), that may be the move:JACKYLED 2-Pack GU24 to E26 E27 Adapter Maximum Wattage 1000W Heat Resistant Up to 200?
