Those hose leads do not come with the faucet
What I really like is that the faucet has two copper pipe lead pipes with their own threads coming out of it as opposed to the prior Delta faucet I purchased that had plastic leads just incorporated into the faucet. Copper is higher quality. You will need to buy separate hoses to connect faucet to the spigots at the bottom of the sink (the water supply).
Ease to install
Foundations Faucet had tighten plates under each old 2 handle faucet holes, going from 2 faucet unit to single handle faucet install. Yes! So I did not have to purchase separate tighten plates to go under each old faucet hole. Plus it was easy to install. Good instructions.
I was very excited to get this product as my kitchen faucet had just went bad. This is the same exact model, except for newer than what I had in my kitchen. It was easy to install and it’s very durable. The last one I had I got about 11 years of use out of it. Let’s hope for more with this product.
I really like this product. Installation took only 10 minutes. Very durable. Does not use too much water. Very ambient noise level. And is energy efficient. A great product.
This is the perfect basic sink faucet. The handle is perfectly adjusted. The installation was super easy and it looks great. It seems very durable as well. Very low maintenance because there’s only like 3 parts. Would definitely purchase again .
Very nice basic kitchen faucet
This replaced a defective Project Source kitchen faucet that looked very similar. This Delta faucet wasn't much more money but the quality is definitely a big improvement.
Delta Foundation with side sprayer
We replaced another Delta Faucet because of leaking. This new one worked for 1 month no issues. Then the sprayer started to leak and the faucet made a loud thumping sound when the water was on. We ordered parts and did the flush out as recommended by the tech. Turned on and same problem, especially the sprayer leaking. Did it one more time,, still leaking.. No more Delta.
Leaks internally
Connection stems are not fixed in place. They rotate, as if the sole sealing mechanism is a rubber washer between the stem and the ball. Just guessing. Water pressure here is >50 psig; maybe that caused leaking? Any time faucet was flowing water, some of it dripped down those stems plus some dripped from left & right mounting studs. Shut off the faucet & the leak stopped.
can be self installed.
Ordered this and the two handle faucett. was told I could return the one we didn't use. Had no problem returning the two handle faucett. this faucette fit perfectly. The instalation was difficult due to older pipes, so I had it professionally installed. It works perfectly, and really brightened up my kitchen sink. The installer had on that was similar, and more expensive, it was a newer style but not as attactive as this, was heavier, but we preferred this one.
Loose Tolerances, Not Worth $69
This faucet looks fine, with "chrome" plated metal except for the base plate, which is chrome colored mylar over plastic. My main issue is that the tolerances on the mechanism are way too loose. This makes the faucet wobbly when the on/off lever is moved. There is no way to tighten down on the ring underneath the mechanism to take the play out. I'd return it for a refund but that would mean pulling the plumbing apart again. So I applied JB Weld to secure the ring and steady the mechanism assembly. This isn't something that should have to be done with a $69 faucet. The faucet is steady now, but the internal on/off valve still sounds loose and makes a clunk when the water is turned on and off. There's no way to get at that, no way to get at the washers someday either. Be sure to vote for "Right to Repair" Bills when you get the chance.
hammering thudding noise
I purchased the Delta Foundations Chrome 1-Handle Deck Mount Low-Arc Handle/Lever Residential Kitchen Faucet from Lowe's on June 2, 2020. The faucet works fine except for a thumping or hammering sound when turned on full flow. After contacting Delta customer service I was advised to flush the faucet mechanism. I did that but it did not change anything. Then Delta provide me with a new diverter valve. That made no difference. I learned to live with the issue.
Junk
This Faucet is junk. When I took it out of the box I could tell it was very fragile. Upon installation the foundation for the sprayer doesn't have enough threads. Therefore it doesn't tighten flush with the sink. It moves around. So I just put the old peerless one back on (metal not plastic) I noticed the copper water inlets spin with ease (chinsy feeling) after finished. I have some thumping like the other reviews and the stupid sprayer leaks out the front! I'm ordering a new peerless same as my one I just replaced. Taking this one back Friday when it arrives. Such garbage! it was my first and last Delta Faucet believe that lol lesson learned. I'm a woman installing this and even I know better. I've replaced many faucets. This is just junk.
[Rewarded Review] Great value priced faucet
This is not your top of the line feel and great looks faucet that costs hundreds of dollars. This is a value priced, good quality faucet for a rental, for those on a budget or for someone who plans to remodel in the next few years who need a faucet now to hold them over until they remodel. The hardest part about changing out a kitchen faucet is taking out the old one with the rusted bolts and having to lay on your back with such a tight space to work with between the depth of the sink and wall. Overall the faucet was easy to install. The only thing I wished Delta would do with their design is to have longer water lines that come from the faucet. Because they were so short, my old 16” water supply lines could not be reused and I had to get 20” lines and the the shorter the lines the higher up you have to reach to connect the supply lines and working space is tight enough. I hope they see my review and manufacture the faucet with slightly longer copper lines. Overall the faucet works well and turns on and off smoothly and for the price, the quality is pretty good.
[Rewarded Review] Good Value and price. Additional Items needed.
As others have mentioned the sprayer, sprayer holder and nut are plastic.
Leaks in just 6 months
There were no problems installing or using the faucet initially except for that thump noise when opening water in the mornings that other reviewers are also mentioning. But in just 6 months the faucet has developed a leak from under the handle that I despite all my effort was not able to fix.
