Good product but description not entirely correct

The item I received perfectly matched the description on the website with one exception. The web description said the lid had a picture of Grand Canyon national park and the item I received did not. I was pretty disappointed with that. I did not return the item because I needed it for a camping trip that weekend and did not have time to wait. Aside from not having the Grand Canyon on the lid it performed perfectly and I would recommend this product.

Best purchase ever!

This dutch oven is awesome! I bought it for my husbands birthday. This cast iron pot comes pre seasoned We have now used it twice! the first time was Jambalaya and the second was red beans and rice! Both of these were done over an open fire and perfect. The clean up is easy and the pot is big enough to feed 15 people and still have leftovers! So very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this Dutch oven to anyone!

Awesome Dutch Oven

I purchased this Dutch Oven for my daughter, who was fulfilling a requirement for her cooking merit badge for the BSA. We loved it so much, that I ended up purchasing the 12" as well for desserts. High quality oven...Love it better than Lodge, as far as I'm concerned, and much more reasonable.

Large Dutch Oven for a big meal or smaller portions.

Just what the Dr ordered. Large but can make about anything you can imagine. Flip the lid for a grill as an option. Haven't used it yet but will in our camping world.

Great Oven!

Bought this oven to use as a demo to teach about Dutch oven cooking, its not as pricey as some other brands but is a solid choice! Handle is part of the lid-not bolted on. Oven is giant and will definitely feed a crowd! Cooks well in coals or in your kitchens oven.

Low quality from manufacturer

I got mine with damaged box from manufacturer and the inside of the oven is all scratched up not black but shiny metal. Very unhappy. Why does it say commemorative national parks nothing on this dutch oven? I don't know why people say it's high quality. I'm sticking to Lodge products which are the best quality. This one's going back to Walmart, junk.

Great buy the HANDLE ON THE LID is TOO SMALL!

I got this a few years ago and I like it, BUT the little handle on the lid is too small to get halfway decent sized fingers to grab it...and others have complained about the relative inability of most lid-lifters to really get under it to grab it. So, I would give it 3 or 4 stars...really a 3.5. but not a possibility. Anyway, make sure you get one with smoooooth interior and no wobble on the lid and you're happy with the size of the lid's handle!

Great oven, it comes ready to go to work. I warmed it up and wiped it down with a little bit of coconut oil, and started cooking. Being able to use the lid as an extra cooking surface, is like having an extra pan without the extra weight.

1/3 smaller than advertised

I purchased this stew pot because it was advertised as being 12 qts (3 gallons). It only holds 2 gallons. It is also not 14" in diameter. The inside diameter is only 13". The outside diameter is 13.5". The handle is attached in such a way that it never hangs level, so you can never even fill it up to the top. I would not have purchased it if I had known it only held 2 gallons.
