Does not do what it alleges.

Its comfortable to sit on out of the water, but does not float in the water when an adult sits on it. Also very unstable when a child is using it.

It just floats because it's so light and full of air. I actually drilled holes in the 4 corners of the bottom and the back so it could fill with water. Drilled another hole in the top center of the seat for air to come out as water came in the bottom. They work pretty well now but it's a bit of a pain.

It's a hard plastic chair, not a soft foam chair. We wanted to place it on our baja deck, but it floats, so it would not stay in place. It seems to be highly overpriced, but Home Depot's price was the best. Not a bad product, just not what we expected.

This is the exact same chair as the swimways terra sol on other websites but much cheaper - I ordered both and they came in the exact same packaging. Much much cheaper than the ledge lounger - just drill some holes so it sinks. Plus it folds up!

Great chairs! I use on my pool sun shelf, just filled with water and it stays put. Love that they fold for easy storage in case of hurricane! I do need to get a pillow as the textured back bothers my husbands bald head.
