Sturdy. Relatively light weight. Ramp folds in half for more compact configuration. Comes with anti wobble plate. Overall, a good product.

The Step-by-Step Instructions were easy to follow and assemble. Very easy to load and unload. Great for carrying our extra camping gear.

Good value. Assembly is a pain.

Works for the purpose I purchased, but it isn’t easy to assemble, too many little parts. Other thing is taking it off and attaching is a bit of a hassle. Wish it was easier.

Easily bent

Multiple pieces bent or dented upon arrival. Bulky and difficult to assemble. Aluminum bends easily with bolt tightening. Haven’t tried putting any weighted items on it, but not sure how durable it will prove.

Solid unit.

Assembly took a while. I had to improvise with some tools, but instructions were adequate. Does the job quite well. Sturdy, stable, light weight.

For what we need it for, it works well. Only inconvenience is needing a wrench to tighten the stabilizer, which you do need to eliminate movement side to side

Flimsy aluminum, I don’t trust it

I bought to transport my adult son’s power wheelchair. It came unassembled. After putting together may pieces to create the sides secured by small bolts and nuts, I drove my SUV with it empty for a few days. A few bolts fell off or became loose. So I replaced and tightened using loctite glue to secure each bolt. The power wheelchair weighs about 250 pounds and must be loaded at the lowest power to make sure it does not push against the flimsy side rails. Most times it is necessary to speed up the chair to climb the steep, slippery aluminum ramp. Great care is involved in the loading process, or I have to park where the carrier ramp is not so steep. After using for one month, I can see a bend in the aluminum “floor” of the carrier where the wheels park, slight dips in the aluminum. I was very disappointed when the cargo carrier was not a solid piece when I opened the box after delivery. I am not sure how long this is going to last. Being rated to carry 500 pounds is quite the exaggeration!! I am very disappointed.

We would have given one more star should there be a better instruction manual. And one more star should it be easier to connect the carrier to the receiver. We had to go under the car sideways in order to align the two holes to connect them.
