Exceeded Expectations

I ordered this, now knowing what to expect as reviews and pictures online can be difficult to trust. I was unfamiliar with Veradek but found the product by entering a google search of the description of what I was looking for.

Rich looking & quality planter

We have a number of Veradek products and this one did not disappoint. It is described as ‘stone finish’ and the picture was ‘okay’ however once received it was perfect. A light but yet very strong container with perfect colour and the ribbed feature adds rich character. Very happy with the product and I expect it will stand up well to our winters like my other products already do.

Excellent quality planter

So far this planter has been great! I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be being that it is plastic, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised. It has a very light texture to it and has held up very well. The drainage holes are a decent size. Big enough to drain but not too big that your soil falls out the bottom. I've had some that the drainage holes are way too big. Definitely would purchase again.

Great quality planter

Planter seems to be decent quality for the price and feels very sturdy. It has a slight stone texture to it and cleans off easy. Was worried that the white would yellow over time but so far I haven't noticed any yellowing. Would purchase again!

Very good quality - thicker plastic, but not so think it makes it too heavy. It clearly will not crack or split. The design and shape look good in modern home - or rather the garden.

[Rewarded Review] Solid shatter-proof planter for indoor or outdoor use

Finally, a handsome outdoor planter which won’t die if I bump it with the lawnmower. This planter is made out of heavy-duty plastic, and I do mean heavy duty. Only time will tell what years of UV will do to it, but right now, I can tell you it will outlast the some of the ceramic planters we have used in our yard. It was designed in Canada (not sure where it was actually made), and says it has a 14 gallon capacity. In spite of being plastic, it is heavy enough it didn’t move during the windstorms we had prior to me getting anything planted in it. It comes with drain holes already in the bottom, so no need to punch or drill new ones. It doesn’t scuff too easily either, which is nice since it is on my lawn mower’s path from one part of my yard to another. I live in a mild climate, and haven’t owned it long enough to know how it fares in freezing weather, but the construction doesn’t feel like anything which will become brittle at low temperatures – I suspect it will hold up better than some of the past ceramic pots we have used which crumbled from UV or freeze-thaw cycles. Another benefit of plastic is the weight after being filled with dirt is still very manageable – not like some terracotta pots which become too heavy to move. Overall, I think this is a nice planter. Wish the plants I put in it were more impressive.

[Rewarded Review] Heavy duty planter

This planter is heavy duty. Definitely not flimsy, thin plastic. Very, very sturdy. Two drainage holes in the bottom. Black will keep the soil warm in cooler weather, hopefully not heat it up too much in hot weather. Should be fine. Looks nice. Neat and trim. Trying to build up a garden area around the deck. This fits in quite nicely. Put some mint plants in the planter. Let's see how they do. Smells great already.

Really nice planter box

This planter box is great. I was surprised with how large it is. It also looks very nice and sturdy. This is deep enough to be able to support most plants.

Best planter box

Springtime is here for my household and this planter box is just what I needed to brighten up the front of my house. This planter box is quite sturdy and doesn't sag at all when full and watered. The grey coloring I was able to get fits the color of my front porch and also contrasts the colorful plants really well. I actually really love the way this planter looks and functions. It's got two holes at the bottom to allow for drainage, which I learned recently is a good thing for plants, so they don't get over watered! I would definitely like to buy this again to give as a gift to anyone with a green thumb. This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. [Rewarded Review] A perfect semi-permanent long term planter or a virtual mobile nursery..... ready to be a home for some chosen plant growth.

My wife and I had been searching for a planter like this for quite some time, and this is the perfect one!!! We aren't 'gardeners' but attempt to do our best at keeping good looking plants, this will help us. We have terracotta planters, large ones about 22"x33" and over 130 through out our front and back yard, that we hand stained..... so we grow, and replant, and have to split up a lot of plants. The pots and soil and plants weigh a lot, and we have been looking for something that small plants, and 'sprouts' can grow in, then be transferred into a new big pot...... this is durable and can be mobile and perfect for it!!!

Well this was shipped and packed super well! I love the construction of the planter. It’s not too heavy and also even though wood is a classic look, this is definitely more weather proof. Also it’s my favorite color! I like that it has drain holes and also feet to keep it just above the ground. I will be filling it with lots of pretty flowers and next spring will do tomato and pepper plants.
