We appreciate their robustness

Having used a set of Denby plates for a couple of years now, we can conclude from personal experience that their robustness by far exceeds that of the other brands of dinnerwear that we currently own. We have yet to see the first scratch or dent on our Denby plates, and we are using them on a daily basis. That is why we recently ordered a matching set of bowls by Denby.

Studio blue cereal bowls

Gorgeous. Hefty and great quality. Beautiful speckled blue colours. Good size for soup, stew, porridge etc. Should last a lifetime with proper care.

Replacement bowl

Needed to get replacement for set of bowls we got about 10 years ago. Not sure how it got damaged, but someone in household managed to chip it. I was pleased to see I could get just the one needed. Matches the other bowls, and you cannot tell that the one bowl is any newer than the others - which shows how good the older bowls are.

The bowls are absolutely beautiful. They almost seem blueish gray more so than the product listing pic shows. They are sturdy and I was surprised at the weight of the bowls. Definitely high quality and I am happy with my purchase!

Matches my pasta bowls. I love the different shades of Studio Blue. Both articles are of generous sizes and don't seem to get chipped like some other crockery I have. Just shows Denby's products are well made!

Denby is a brand that I had wanted for many years. I finally found a reasonable price on Wayfair and purchased the dishes. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants very strong pottery dishes.

After several years of Mikasa chromatic, we pulled the trigger on Denby for our every day dishes. As the set arrives (we’ve had to buy the pieces separately as the stock has been out everywhere) we have been more and more thrilled about the value. These cereal bowls, for example, comfortably double for soups and ramen. They are not too large or too small, and they have weight yet are not cumbersome. The pasta bowls are broader and work well with stews and clear broth or salads. I love the thoughtful design: the base on this set is out toward the edge of the pieces so they squarely so there is no instability if a food item is cut or moved around. And the high lip on outside edge of the regular and midsized plates make them feel so sturdy, level. So happy with these dishes!

Great quality dishes. Got them to replace a cabinet full of very old Fiestaware and I’m happy with the purchase. It was hard to spend so much on a full set of dishes (got several different sizes of the Denby Studio Grey) but I think it was worth it. Very sturdy dishes. And the packing was superb. Very well protected in the box when it arrived. I ordered 24 total pieces and not a single one was damaged in shipping.

Lovely blue dishes

Love these blue dishes! Perfect for cereal, puddings, snacks. They are all different but pretty, and very sturdy. Definitely recommend

These dishes are gorgeous! Heavy duty, beautiful colours. Haven't used them yet, but they look like they will stand up. Arrived in perfect condition.

Quality stoneware.

Good quality. Very nice size for ice cream, cereal and snacks. I hand wash and also heat up leftovers in microwave. I only hope I don't chip as this quality brand Denby is costly , bought on sale.

These look great and feel nice and sturdy. The colors are very pretty, especially the dark blue. I bought these to go with a set of Denny Studio blue plates. I love the way they look and each piece is unique. They were extremely well packaged and bubble wrapped around the sturdy boxes. No breakage occurred in shipping. Highly recommend these bowls. Great color and size.

Love getting new additions to my Denby sets with Tesco's vouchers. Building up two sets at once as can't choose between. Fabulous to feel like getting it all free and they never break. Beautiful quality thank you Denby!

Love the colour variations and great quality

Great quality and they are beautiful. I love the variation in the colours. I also bought 8 large coupe plates and side plates and I will definitely be ordering some more items when they are back in stock. I did have to wait longer than expected for delivery but it was definitely worth the wait.

Love these bowls. Good value on Wayfair compared to other sites. Going to order more tableware to go with. Feel well made and should - the worst happen - individual replacements can be bought. Feels much more environmentally friendly than chucking out my old chipped sets which I’ve had to do with cheaper crockery.

Beautiful Denby stoneware bowls.

First, the bowls are beautiful. They are a perfect size for soup, which is mainly what I use them for. Also, I love the variety of blue shades in them. They cost more than similar bowls I have seen elsewhere, but these are sturdy, beautiful and well worth the extra cost.

These bowls feel so nice to hold, the depth, width, weight and shape are pretty standard and the areas that it touches the table are perfectly smooth. The glaze seems mostly stable even on the darkest cobalt but it's not perfectly glossy, leading me to feel iffy about putting high acid food in the bowls, but I bought them for cereal, not tomato soup, so I am pretty comfortable. They really are just so smooth and nice to hold. I recently got three sets of different bowls from different companies to figure out which I like best and by far, these ones are the nicest. I definitely would buy again and might actually replace my least favorite bowls with these.

Stunning Denby Quality and design

The Studio Blue collection is gorgeous. Previously, I have always loved the Imperial Blue collection and have had my set for nearly 30 years, with additions over these years.

I’m so happy with this purchase! These bowls are a great size for everything - salads, pasta, lentils, curry, soup, cereal...And they fit well with another set we have for mix and match. The material feels solid, not too heavy but not too light. Colors are true to the photos. Very happy with this set and I’ll be looking into purchasing from Derby again in the future.
