This is a show stopper! You'll have lots of lights going on your shelf and by adding jut a few accessories, you'll have an entire scene set up. It's well made and it's an easy plug in.

I've been wanting to create the Christmas Vacation Village for a long time now. Before Christmas, I noticed Macy's had all the pieces for 50% off. What a deal! i bought all of them.

Love this house! I'm a little concerned about how to replace the lights when they burn out, since this is not a typical Dept 56 house. Still happy with my purchase though.
Quality Issues
I ordered three of the Christmas Vacation houses for gifts. All three as other reviewers mention came with the bottom plastic piece that connects the wires to the house detached. It exposed all the wires and they were falling out and looked like Clark’s ball of tangled lights. On one however, half of the roof lights did not work and it looks like one of the wires was cut or never attached. I contacted Macys call center which claims they will ship a new one, so fingers crossed they do. Overall it is a very big disappointment in quality. .

It’s beautiful, but came broken. Disappointed because it wasn’t cheap. I have to decide if I want to go through the hassle of returning and getting a new one or gluing it back together
