Only one thing to address

Very well-constructed gazebo. Just one thing I wish was better. The doorway needs to be held in place, as zipping it is difficult with the bottom shifting side to side. I have it held down with two thinner landscape blocks. That helps immensely. All else is great!

[Rewarded Review] We would appreciate an answer.

In the picture it shows add on wind panels we did not receive a single one. What is the deal? Other then that we like the product.

Easy to set up...but

We are happy with the ease of setup, the weight of the gazebo, and the quality of the zippers. BUT our gazebo leaks around the seam where the sides meets the top. It leaks on all sides and front. After a steady rain throughout the night and early morning, we found everything in our gazebo under these seams were soaked. Even after wiping the water off the seams, it continued to leak. I contacted Gazelle and was instructed to apply a seam seal. I find this unacceptable for the price paid. We will seam seal once the temperature is over 60 degrees and see what happens.

Velcro warning.

Very roomy, well made, and fairly easy to set up. I do have two complaints. I bought six panels for protection and privacy. You have to buy six, even though there are five sides. Putting panels on all five sides is kind of a pain. Zippers would be a lot better. Also, a specially designed panel for the door would be nice. Second, I accidentally let Velcro rub against the bug netting. Don't do this! I now have a frayed section in the netting, which affects my view out.

This has been a huge upgrade to the typical Ez-Up awnings I have used in the past. While those cost a bit less, I would go through them every other camping trip. A sudden gust would come through and blow it over and it would just break. This Gazebo on the other hand can be easily staked down and it has held up even in a pretty bad dust storms here in Arizona. It's been working great as our camp kitchen, as well as a good place to store gear and other things you don't want to get wet overnight!

5 Stars

Great day tent. I can easily set it up by myself. It is perfect for the area around our travel trailer. This is the third tent we have purchased to use when we travel. I found out about it from a few RV friends, and this one is perfect! I highly recommend!

[Rewarded Review] If you want a reasonably priced screened gazebo.

Fast shipping, arrived in great condition. Good price, better than Amazon. What I wanted, not disappointed..

Couldn’t be happier!

Love how easy this is to setup. Possible to do on my own but I’ve always had one other person with me. Tent walls are easy to add and make a huge difference in creating shade and cooling the interior in direct sun. The mesh walls are incredible at keeping out bugs and a light breeze so it can get fairly hot without walls to keep the sun off you to begin with.

Excellent addition

The 5-sided Gazelle is perfect for the 2 of us. snug for 4. Setup is simple. Take down is a bit more confusing but it goes back into bag very easily. It’s been a great addition at home and on the road.

Perfect!!!

The gazebo worked perfectly. On a seven day camping trip it kept us totally dry in spite of several rainy days. The side panels were great to keep out the rain when it was windy. We had plenty of room to cook and relax inside the gazebo. We had no problems with bugs either. Set up was quick and easy.

Excellent choice Gazelle tent

Great tent. Very Easy to open and close in a few minutes alone, less if 2 people. Spacious and comfortable. Made of very durable material. Very pleased with this product.

Bug free with eeze

We love the gazebo! The price was very reasonable compared to others of similar design. We have set it up twice now, both times took a bit of struggle, that is why the 4 stars, I am sure that with time it will become easier but even with the instructions it was a bit difficult. The internal poles are so strong (which is good), it is very difficult to raise the roof, with one of us holding it down and the other pushing the top, it raises off the ground, I see no way a single person could do this. Perhaps staking it down first would be advantageous, but it doesn't mention that in the instructions so unsure if that is wise. Take down was a snap! The quality of the tent so far is superb and does keep us bug free!

My Old Gazebo got blown over.

After years of frustration with a steel poled and cord guyed gazebo I ordered a 5 sided Gazelle from an online Canadian dealer. American friends had introduced us to the X frame gazebos pre-covid and my research had led me to purchase the 5 sided Gazelle with the bonus rain covers. Good decision, easy too put up and break down. Withstands wind and rain and keeps the bugs out.

[Rewarded Review] Great Gazelle!

The Gazelle gazebo/canopy/tent is going to be so much fun and useful at not only places like the beach, but also in my own backyard. We have wanted a sun canopy for a while, but this is much better! The Gazelle comes in a long box and is a tad heavy. Inside, the gazebo is inside a bag tightened by velcro straps, but with carry straps that make the transportation easier. Still might be tough to get it into smaller vehicles. Inside the bag, the gazebo is secured with another velcro strap, which believe me here, makes it easier to get it back into that carry bag. I like how the instructions are attached to the carry bag, so you don’t have to worry about losing them. I also like how there aren’t too many instructions to worry about. Basically, you unfold it and then pull a canvas handle in the center of each of the four sections outward to make the poles flex into position. It was a little challenging the first time all by myself. The poles don’t want to just pop right out into place. The hardest part was getting the roof to flex upward, not going to lie, it was a bit of a struggle. Being tall helps there. There are two small, separate poles that you place on either side of the door, not hard. It’s really nice, though, not to have to worry about a lot of separate pieces and some intricate diagram to put up such a structure. I think it will be easier next time and, for sure, will be easier with a second person. But one determined woman was able to set it up alone. There is a small bag full of vicious looking spikes and lines to secure the tent to the ground. It was not a windy day, so I did not use them this time. I like how the spikes have a handle so you can just screw them in. No need to carry a hammer. I appreciate the strong stitching along the segments. The fabrics feel lightweight, but fairly strong. I do suggest being careful not to rip the mesh sides. The desert sand color will be great to keep it cooler inside that a darker color. To collapse, it’s just the reverse - and much easier. Pull the roof panel down (watch your head), push each section in, fold the segments together, wrap with the velcro strap. Then the Gazelle jumps right back in the carry bag. (Sarcasm - a free service I offer) So while it was up, I put in one of the portable chairs we always take on our adventures. There was plenty of room for my husband’s chair, the cooler, the dog, and whatever else we might want to take along. The top was well over my close to 6’ head. No need to duck while inside. The doors zip up nicely so you can be outside without worrying about mosquitos and biting flies. Notice there is no floor, however. I sat and read my book, drank some tea, felt the breeze through the mesh sides, listened to the birds - I enjoyed being out on this very nice day. Thanks, Gazelle and Home Depot!

[Rewarded Review] Perfect size to bring on our RV trips

While we have a larger 6-sided portable gazebo it is slightly too heavy and bulky for us to bring in our class B camper van. The Gazelle 5-sided gazebo is the perfect size for our needs of roughly 60sf of floor area, which is large enough for is to set up our folding chairs, a folding end table and even a folding cot. From one corner to the opposing flat size is approximately 9 feet across, though the real useable is about 8 feet across so should accommodate many permanent tables at campgrounds. The center height is roughly 7 feet giving ample headroom. The fabric, no-seeum mesh material and heavy duty zipper for are high quality and the workmanship first rate. The 10 supplied ground stakes are quite unique and have threads the first few inches to screw into the ground along with plastic handles that allow you to grip them to remove. They also have a metal head to hammer them into the ground if desired. There were 4 included high-visibility orange guy lines to help hold the gazebo in place during windier conditions. I really like the fact the gazebo can be set up or taken down within a few minutes, though the literature states 60 seconds. On my scale the entire gazebo along with the stakes, folding fiberglass poles to support the opening and carry bag weighed about 26 pounds and was about 5 feet 2 inches in length. The supplied velco compression straps to help make the gazebo be more compact and less material to flap around as we plan to carry it along our rear door mounted ladder. We are excited to bring this gazebo on future adaventures and create and inviting outdoor space to relax, eat and nap.

[Rewarded Review] Easy setup, portable design

This tent is great! We had a similar version to this and it was much larger, heavier and more complex to setup. But this tent was super easy to setup with clear instructions right on the strap that holds the tents together. I had my 5 year old help me and she loved it, although not strong enough to pull the sides out. This is a sleek design with an attractive “gazelle” logo on the roof.

[Rewarded Review] Better than expected! Very easy to pop up this tent/gazebo

The Gazelle G% Portable 4-person 5-sided gazebo/tent was easier than I expected to pop up. I have tried other pop-up tents but none were as easy as this. The color blends well for use on a deck and the netting is very easy to see through to the outside. It's amazing that it fits in a slender (but long) carrying case. We don't have much wind, but I imagine some sand tubes would hold it down. I did notice that it's a bit hotter inside the tent than outside, because the mesh reduces any breeze. I might use a citronella candle as an added deterrent to mosquitoes/flies. Makes a great little dog pen for visiting pets!
