Not worth the suffering

Whoever designed this should be immediately incarcerated. This was the most difficult installation process I’ve ever had for a light fixture. The instructions sucked, and affixing it to the ceiling requires the dexterity of something far more dexterous than a human being. Shame on the designer and shame on Home Depot for selling this fixture to the paying public.

Ugh!

Light was difficult to install. Cover to the electrical box barely covers. Poor design plus it’s ugly. Looks better in the picture. Unfortunately I have three more to install for my customer. Ugh!

Great semi flush pendant

Love the shape, color and the little bubbles in glass globe that create a subtle reflection on the ceiling when illuminated. Great replacement for the traditional builder grade “boob” light too!

I did a total remodel of my bathroom and picked up this light for the little entry area in my bathroom. I loved it so much I bought the single lights for over the mirrors. Beautiful bubbly glass detail.

Beautiful light fixture! I changed out an old ceiling fan in my home office and replaced it with this light and I couldn’t be more happy with it. It’s so pretty and was easy to install!

Casts a Beautiful Light!

I purchased the Gracelyn ceiling light for my bathroom hallway. It has pretty seedy glass and matte black finish. When I turned on the light I was pleasantly surprised by the light it cast on the ceiling!

Design house classic globe.

My wife and I have been wanting to replace the lighting in my our old baby room. We both saw this glass globe light made by design house and decided it was a perfect fit for the space. We really like the satin gold finish as it's a timeless look. It was super easy to install the light and only took a few minutes to install. I really like the glass seedy glass globe to give it that classic leaded glass look. It's been installed for about a week and I'm more than happy, both the craftsmanship to the easy install it was a super easy diy project for even a novice.

Pretty and versatile

I bought this light to replace 3 cans over my sink. This flush mount light is compatible with the pendant in the same style, so I was able to use some of the extension rods from the pendant to make this into a short pendant. Extension rods are not available separately. The fixture came very well packaged and has clear instructions. The pieces are sturdy and fit together well. I would have liked the tubes to be slightly wider to make assembly a little easier, but it was not too hard. I think it would be difficult to fit spliced wires through the tubes, so that limited the length I could push this to. I plan to buy another pendant so I can stagger the length of 3 fixtures. Country of origin is China.

Cute Accent Light

I needed a light for a small space that wouldn't interrupt visibility too much but that would be a cute accent. This perfectly fit the bill! I love the seeded glass. It's a quality glass and the seeding has a bit of an antique vibe which I love contrasted with the modern shape of the globe and the style of the semi-flush mount. The gold is great--a warm yellow gold, no greenish undertones. I'm waiting on my electrician to install it as part of a larger renovation but the instructions look pretty straightforward. I think an Edison style bulb will complete the look.

Champagne Fixture with Effervescent Bubbles in Globe Shade

The Design House Gracelyn Modern 1-light Semi-Flush Ceiling Mount in Satin Gold is a pretty straight forward install; however, the diagram provided was much better at explaining the installation process than the directions. Online, the Satin Gold color looks either brassy or more yellow gold toned; however, it's neither of those two colors - maybe more of a champagne color. Also, the seedy pattern is on the inside of the globe, leaving the outside of the globe quite smooth; to me, the seedy pattern looks like effervescent bubbles in a drinking glass.

I want to start out talking about the glass globe. How cool is that. The blistered or air bubble looking glass is fantastic. The simplicity of the fixture but elegant look, what a great combination. It is so, so easy to assemble and install this. Basic tools are all that is needed for this fixture. All the hardware, ie. bracket, wire nuts, canopy screws are included. Minimal amount of time to complete the process. The Edison bulb gives an awesome glow. It is dimmable if you want to put it on a dimmer switch

This was probably the easiest light fixture I've ever installed. You can put the globe together on the ground and it's all relatively lightweight, so it makes it easier. One person can install it without issue, it only took me a few minutes. It puts off a good amount of light & the seeded glass doesn't throw weird shadows like it has on some of the outdoor lights I've seen. The black ring at the top of the globe does throw a shadow directly above the light, but that doesn't bother me. It doesn't come with a bulb and all I had on hand were CFLs which detracts from the look, so be sure to pick a bulb up ahead of time. Nice addition!
