New but looks right for the era.

I bought mine new over twenty years ago from a local shop. I've since had new upholstering to go with the new decor in my bedroom. It is amazingly sturdy, not terribly difficult to move for cleaning under and beautiful. In answer to the person who said it was too firm: Mine is firm but not uncomfortable. When reclining, it's more comfortable with pillows behind the back. It takes up a lot of space for basically a one person piece of furniture but high style for a home as old as mine (1896.)

Long lasting elegance !

We bought this fainting sofa 23 years ago- I would absolutely recommend it. Excellent quality, it has been moved from room to room over the years, endured children and pets. We clean it professionally once a year. It looks perfect - stuffing is firm enough to still make it a comfortable couch to seat or lie down for a movie or a piano recital.

I bought my swan chain about 14 years ago for my bedroom, it is still very beautiful as the day I received it, it was so well wrapped and was delivered in perfect condition, my husband still absolutely love his chair, since it's where we have our morning coffee, it shows so beautiful in our bedroom. Love it

I love my fainting couch!

I purchased my Swan Fainting Couch second-hand at an antique shop several years ago. It has held up beautifully even though I move it frequently to vacuum. I don't usually sit on my couch as I would a chair; I recline or partially recline to watch tv. I also curl up on it with a throw every day and take my afternoon nap, and I am 5' 7" tall. It is very comfortable for that purpose. It is unique, elegant, and fits the vintage decor of my home. I am so glad I found it.

My experience has been that this fainting couch is not comfortable with I’ll put another cushions on top of it it looks nice as far as giving it for a great price it’s a great price but the for the price I paid I would not purchase it again and further has cautioned me from ordering anything else

I had been searching for this type of couch and randomly came across this website. I was a little uncertain about ordering online without seeing this piece, but did not have many options. Once it arrived it was everything my husband and I hoped it would be. Since we have ordered many more products and have been very happy with all. Highly recommend them.
