Will not work with just any popup drain

Do not buy this unless you plan on buying the popup drain spoken about in the question and answer section. It will not work with any other drain. A complete waste of money, time and energy.

Very complicated

Super complicated install. It didn't work out for us and now I need to go through a crappy return process because the description of the product wasn't clear enough.

Nice looking and well made, but...

This is a very nice looking and well made trap. However it does not meet most building codes, nor will it pass home inspections. Also, it requires that the sink drain be directly in line with the drain inlet in the wall--no wiggle room for lateral variation whatsoever. Lastly, it won't work with many pop-up drains that come with new faucets. This screws directly onto the drain body. Whereas this bottle drain has standard 1-1/4" drainpipe thread, many import faucet drains do not.

I had never seen this style sink trap before. It definately adds some style to the room. It gives my exposed plumbing a clean sleek look in the half bath. The bottle trap is made brass and stainless steel. The body is brass while the extension tune is stainless steel. The extension tube can be cut to size to meet your height requirements. The best part is how easy to clean it is. The finish is beautiful.

The LUXIER Bottle P trap is a quality made product that is manufactured with all metal (Brass and Stainless Steel) products (not plastic). The trap comes with all the required parts for and easy installation. This trap has a large clean-out opening in the bottom which makes it simple to keep clean and functioning. All the required gaskets and O-Rings come with the P-trap. The bottle shaped design is nice looking and takes up less room than a traditional elbow trap. Sleek looking and works well. The cleanup can be opened with a normal flat head screwdriver, no special tools require. This product will give you years of great service. All the finishes are smooth and clean and well made. The trap is also shipped with a wall excursion plate for a complete finished look.

This Luxier Designer 1-1/4 in. Brass Round Bottle Trap in an amazing Oil Rubbed Bronze is beautiful and functional. The oil rubbed bronze is just classy and elegant. Hassle free installation with a slip on inlet design and 12 inch extension pipe. Removable trap eye for easy cleaning which is awesome. This bottle P trap is designed for console table and vessel type installations. I would recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Contemporary, clean, and well-made!

The LUXIER Designer 1-1/4 in. Brass Round Bottle Trap in Chrome, Grey is such a wonderful upgrade to our haphazard 1/2 bathroom! I was not a fan of the stand-alone sink showing the water line and wall connections in the first place, so this offers a much sleeker design for the need. The instructions are very easy to follow and doesn't require professional skills to install!

[Rewarded Review] Sleek and doing the job right!

LUXIER Designer 1-1/4 in. Brass Round Bottle Trap Oil Rubbed Bronze is a perfect upgrade for our 1/2 bath stand-alone sink! The bottle trap is a much more sophisticated way to have the sink working efficiently! The instructions are very easy to follow and all needed parts are included. This will be a part of our bathroom upgrade, getting rid of mediocre hardware and water lines/connections showing from the sink to the wall.

[Rewarded Review] Outstanding Trap, But do your homework

High praise for this bottle trap. Excellent materials, construction and finish. For those of you not familiar with bottle traps, they are perfect for smaller sinks where the distance from the drain in the sink to the wall is too short for a traditional P trap/J trap. My only problem with this trap is that is doesn't meet code in my town (Los Angeles). The issue the plumbing code has with these traps is that they are not self cleaning, you cannot mechanically snake them (although this one has access on the bottom (see pics) and there is an interior partition that can rust/wear. I'm asking my town for special consideration before I install it. So just be mindful when purchasing. Other than the code question, this is a beautiful fixture, meant to be seen.

[Rewarded Review] Wow, worth the splurge!

This feels like quality all around - the finish, the weight, the included pieces, & easy instructions. I choose this trap on a whim as the setup is for my potting/duck shed, but I have some leftover tile, so decided to nice up the counter space and this is the perfect finishing touch for the look. I especially appreciate for my application that it has a giant flathead screw type removable plug for the trap. The only issue is that the packaging, which is minimal yet protective, didn't secure the installed nut, which rattled around a little in shipping and scuffed the finish - it is at least so high up that it shouldn't show and I don't suspect it'll get any wear or tear for what it is that would worry me about durability of the finish once installed.

[Rewarded Review] Fancy & stylish...

Fixture appears to be very solidly made. It seems to be heavier than a brass classic-style p-trap. I've got a few gold-tone bathroom faucets that I'm going to be using eventually, once I figure everything out, and the opportunity to include this fancy European-style bottle p-trap in the installation was an upgrade I couldn't pass up. One of my bathrooms has an old-school wall mounted sink that needs replacing. I think this will work with that type of installation? I laid the trap out with a few of my faucet choices, to see how it will look. This will stylishly fill the bill. Going to be very nice with whichever one I choose.
