I opted to put this on my existing post in my front yard. It definitely puts out a lot of light and is perfect for my front yard since it is extremely dark at night. It was very easy to hook up the wiring and didn’t take very long. The design is beautiful and has gotten a lot of compliments from the neighbors. This light could also be hooked up on the wall if needed. Great product and recommended to anyone.

Classic and well-made

I needed a new light to replace the broken one in my courtyard. I guess I didn't read the full description because I was happy to see that this light is made of a nice quality aluminum rather than the plastic that so many others are made of. With this being in a courtyard, I like that this has 3 bulbs. It provides just the right amount of light (I use LED bulbs). For the price point, you will NOT be disappointed.

It looks great...

I absolutely love this lamp post! It s very pretty, it actually looks like it's original to my house which was built in 1933. It was a lot easier to install than we expected. My husband had it put together, the electrical ran and up and running in less than 2 hours. I definitely recommend this light, it's affordable, very well made, pretty and easy to install.

Awesome fixture

This lighting fixture is the perfect addition to my yard/house. The light post itself is very durable and built to last. The instruction manual for this is a complete mess, it has pictures but NO written directions. Besides that small flaw, this light post is amazing, simple, beautiful, and most importantly effective. I recommend this light post/light fixture to anyone looking to achieve more outdoor lighting at night, or anyone looking to replace an old worn down light post.

When I moved into my house the traditional posts lights that came with the house, had died and I was needing new one and I was able to put this in and it was so easy to do. I had no trouble and the light is quite bright. The colors goes perfect with my house .

Problem with Weak Neck

Our subdivision uses about twenty of these lights. Three times in recent years they have broken at the narrow neck above the base, about 3 inches above the bottom of the fixture. A quick look at the photo will show the weak spot. The fixtures have broken as a result of someone bumping into the supporting post, causing a bending jolt at that neck. This neck is poor design and needs to be strengthened. Otherwise the light fixtures are very attractive, and we like them.

good replacement

This was a replacement for the post lantern destroyed in hurricane Sandy. It fit on perfectly and was easy to reinstall without having to pay an electrician.
