Positive initial impression
assembly was a snap, no tools required, just drop in the ram and put the seat over it.
Very well Built. This stool makes me wonder why I did not get it a long time ago. The pneumatic height adjustment works very well as I do have different height worktables. The casters are very well made and rolls very easily

Almost perfect.
DeWalt quality! Seems very sturdy but haven’t used it yet. We’ll see how the test of time goes, I’m a bigger guy, 6’3 235lbs and I’ve never had a roller stool last more than a year before the wheels start falling off. Only negative so far is the storage tray underneath. It’s a heavy duty wire mesh, fine for hand tools. But needs to be a solid tray to hold small parts like nuts and bolts I take off as I’m working on vehicles.
DeWALT DXSTAH025 Adjustable Creeper Shop Stool wit
All in all this creeper is OK. The only thing with it is one of the casters collapsed on it and bent to the middle. They need to weld the outside edge to the frame where the caster goes inside the leg. I took the liberty of welding it in place and no more issues so far. The price was right and I will for sure get my moneys worth out of it.
Decent value at $99
Decent quality build. Seat is comfortable with ample height range. Casters aren’t the greatest quality though. Rough rolling on any kind of textured floor such as an epoxy coated concrete floor with flakes. Reasonable value at $99 sale price. Definitely not worth the original retail price of $180. May consider swapping out the casters later on.

DEWALT IS THE OFFICIAL COLOUR OF MY GARAGE, I NOW OWN OFFICIALLY WAY TO MANY OF THESE STOOLS AND TODAY I LEARNED I NEED TO BUY 2 MORE. I HAVE 6 OF THESE TOTAL. ALL ARE STILL IN FANTASIC SHAPE WORTH THE $209 BUT IF YOU HAVE THE TIME WAIT FOR THE SALE AT 129.00. STILL HOLDING OUT HOPE SOMEONE FROM DEWALT READS THESE AND MAKES MY GARAGE A DEWALT SHOW ROOM. LOL ONE CAN ONLY DREAM.
Nicest Stool I Have Owned
I am not a professional, I am DIY. This is the nicest shop stool I have ever owned. The seat is comfy and padded and the stool is steady. However, I use it at the lowest seat height. I have not used it with the seat fully extended. I keep my shop floor swept to make sure there are no obstructions in the way of the wheels. I am very happy with the stool. I weight 255 pounds.
Great shop stool
This stool was mostly preassembled and very easy to put together. It comes with rolling casters on it which you can switch out with the included stationary feet. The Tractor Supply price was the best I could find. Free shipping to my nearby store. I'm very pleased. Typical great DeWalt quality.
A handy shop stool
This was one of those holiday attention grabbers, so at the reduced price I figured it would be okay. Went together easily and it's quite sturdy. It's comfortable as a shop stool and allows you to spin around between things. It looks sharp and while I wouldn't have paid full price for it, the reduce price made it reasonable.
Great shop stool
Overall it’s a nice stool but as others have mentioned the wheels leave something to be desired. After reading the reviews before ordering I purchased a set of 4 inch wheels with ball bearings and immediately installed them before even using the stool. In addition to adding 1 inch in height the stool rolls flawless on my wood shop floor. Other than the kind of generic wheels I do recommend it. Extremely well built but I little pricey but I would purchase again
Great shop stool, but...
I got sick of crappy shop stools and I wanted one with casters. This is a solid stool, and super easy to assemble. You just drop the piston into the base, and then snap the seat on top of this. It takes like 15 seconds. The casters are already attached. I would have given this 5 stars, but the casters don't have bearings in them. It's just hard plastic with a pin through them, and you can't remove the pin non-destructively.
Get stool just to tall
Creeper stool is made of good quality ,it’s sturdy easy to roll around on but the seat in lowest position is really high I usually sit on this to shine wheels or grill bumper area on my 55 truck but seat is so high can’t bend over far enough to shine wheels. On highest level head is about like seating on bar stool. Great quality just wanted lower to the ground. I have a craftsman it sits 5-6 in higher than it
Review: DeWALT DXSTAH025 Adjustable Shop Stool
Nice stool. Good sitting height.
Great Value- Quality Stool
The DeWalt DXSTAH025 Adjustable Creeper Shop Stool with caster wheels is well-engineered and designed. Very easy to assemble in quick 3-step process. Comes with caster wheels already attached from manufacture. The mobile stool is made from steel with sturdy construction and quality materials you can always expect from DeWalt. It comes with a 300 lbs. weight limit that should last for many years. This is a 5-stars highly rated by consumer product.
Buyer Beware!!
Buyer beware! I bought this stool for my husband a year ago last Xmas. Within 1 year the ball bearings were falling out of the wheels. I was told I would have to go thru Dewalt for warranty repair. I called Dewalt and was told the chair was out of warranty service, sorry. I then posted a picture of the chair on the Dewalt website with a bad review. That got a response from Dewalt where they posted a customer service number for me to reach out to for additional help. That turned out to be a joke, was told the same thing again. They do that to make it look like they're fixing the problem. Save yourself money and buy a Harbor Frieght chair.
Poor quality, don't be fooled by the name!
Buyer be warned! I bought this exact stool for my husband 2 Christmases ago. At about the 11 month point of ownership ball bearings started falling out of the wheels. I was told I would have to go thru Dewalt for warranty repair. After contacting Dewalt was told there is no warranty available. After owning the chair 13 months 2 wheels actually broke off...my husband now has a stool with no rollers. Save your money and buy from Harbor Frieght!
Made to last
Every shop stool, I have bought said that it has a limit of 300 pounds. They all seem to die within a year. This was more expensive than all the rest but its value was immediately seen. The hydraulic goes into a much stronger base and where it attaches to the seat, it’s also well supported. The bottom section is tuff. Really nice addition to our shop. The seat cushion is firm, but that doesn’t bother me because every other brand goes flat after a month or two anyway . That’s not due to weight, I’m 175lb. They just use cheap materials haha.
Get it!
It appears DeWalt and NTool has this stool made for them by the same manufacturer except DeWalt adds casters whereas NTool doesn’t, and hence, NTool is lower priced than DeWalt’s. Jg’s version is similar but geometry is different, and to my eyes, not as aesthetically balanced, although the significantly lower price point had me tempted. Had always been leaning towards DeWalt’s version with the casters since before the pandemic (I’m not a DeWalt fan-boy; had the NTool version come with casters I would have gotten it instead if it still maintained it’s price advantage), but after the pandemic hit, like a lot of things, the price of this stool jumped up. When Tractor Supply Co. placed the DeWalt’s version on Xmas sale with free shipping, it was comparable to price of the Jg’s version so I finally pulled the trigger.

I purchased four of these for my husband for his birthday. He was SO surprised when the truck came and all four Dewalt boxes were for him! He put them together and tossed his old and rickety stools in about 15 minutes of opening the boxes! Everyone that has come over since has said how awesome the stools are and that they want them too. They’re sturdy and light enough to move around and use all day yet comfortable enough to just sit around in them. They go together in about five minutes each and you can use them with or without the casters. Foot pads are included if you don’t want the casters. We love them so much that we are going to get them for my dad and my husbands best friend for Christmas. Well worth the money. I would 100% recommend these and I will absolutely be purchasing them again. The shipping was also fast. I ordered them 07/21 and they were delivered 07/24.
