River Streets Designs Dakota Platform Bed

This bed is absolutely beautiful. The pictures doesn't even begin to do it justice. I love that it's a medium gray, thus not too light nor is it too dark. It's fairly easy to put it together. I did it by myself however it would be better to have a second person to help with the lifting, holding the pieces in place, etc. The one thing I don't like about it are the wooden slats (hence the four stars). I would much rather have metal slats like the railings. It says it holds up to 500 lbs but because the slats aren't metal, I don't see how. I'm a 130 lb woman and not sure how long it'll hold up with just me in the bed. Yet with that said I still recommend this bed. It's stylish, modern and chic.
