Perfect for our Chandelier!

The first medallion we ordered had a defect and we were quickly refunded our money and were able to order another. Although lightweight, it looks very solid. It was white but I painted it with my trim paint to get consistent shades. This is a 20 medallion and adds the perfect look without being too decorative.

This medallion is beautiful; classic and simple, yet elegant. It installed easily with caulking. It is the perfect size for my dinning room chandelier. Will also be using it in the living room, but still looking for a light fixture.

This chandelier looks fantastic! I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to adjust length but the chord is very long and we easily adjusted to make it shorter. We also had a dimmer switch from previous fixture and specs say it is dimmable as long as you have a dimmer switch. One negative was you the bolt was too short to screw in so we had to buy a longer one. We also ordered the black medallion from Wayfair and it compliments it very well!

Adhesion. I screwed it to the ceeling

So classy and extremely easy to install. We used a Loctite PowerGrab all purpose adhesive. We didn’t have to cut the medallion. My husband figured out a way to wire the new light through the medallion. It was maximum effect with minimum effort. These types of personalizations truly make a home.

Love it!

The handpainted, ultra pure white finish is excellent and matched my ceiling exactly. I needed the position of my chandelier moved slightly and this 24" medallion covers the previous opening. Having saved money for plaster repair, I feel that the medallions price was worth it.

Nice design but odd size canopy required.

A nice design but requires 4.5" canopy. Most canopies are 5" dia so difficult to find a fitting canopy. I ended up buying a 5" canopy and cut it down with a tin snips to make it fit this medallion.

Easy to paint. Bright white high gloss. Two coats. The chandelier canopy would probably be enough to hold it in place but I used a bit of Gorilla glue. Careful not to let it ooze out the sides. Use a small bead and let it set 5 min before placing. Looks great but doesn't steal your eye away from a beautiful chandelier. Perfect.

a little bit too small for a standard chandelier base plate and a some carving was required for the base plate to seat into the center of the medallion, but it looks good.

Beautiful medallion

Beautiful ceiling medallion. It worked out great in my dining room where I have a vaulted ceiling. It really added a touch of decor to what would otherwise be a large boring ceiling. I think that it even elevates the look of the chandelier that hangs underneath.

Looks great - so easy!

I used this to cover up the hole in the ceiling that the new light fixture didn't cover. I thought it might look a little too fancy, but it looks great. It looks as if it was part of the original old old building we are living in.I installed it by using almost an entire tube of all purpose caulk and then three screws (two on stud). The last of the caulk was used around the edge to smooth off the area where the medallion meets the ceiling.

Nice finishing touch

I purchased this item because I replaced our foyer chandelier with one that was more appropriate for the room vs. the builder grade one that was there. I thought that this would enhance the look and feel and it certainly did not disappoint. I really like it. Looking to add some moulding in my foyer and then paint but it still looks good right now with my medallion.

Would recommend this one it not so ornate busy that it would distract the ceiling.

This application fit perfectly as we need to relocates ceiling box to center the table. It is very light weight. Low star on adhesion due to we used our own PL product to attach so not sure why my this is included in review.

Great Looking Medallion!!

I have to scratch my head at some of the reviews. This is foam and light weight, but you may need to do a little more than just slap some glue on it to make it "stick". You may need to perform some minor sanding as one of the three I have had some primer splatter. The center hole may need to be adjusted for the electric box you are using. The medallion may not be 100% flat and thus may need some attention to get it flat to the ceiling.In addition to latex caulk, I add either finish nails (shot in at V formations) or use a couple of drywall screws to secure them flat to the ceiling. I then clean up the holes with drywall mud and caulk until the holes are no longer seen and the surface is even. After a coat of paint, its good to go.I do have another brand medallion that is made of plastic. That went up with latex caulk as the glue and did not need anything else. It is more plain than this brand and why I only used that one in one room.

Disappointed

I am using this 2pc. medallion so I dont have to completely unwire and remove a ceiling fan in order to hide evidence of the prior original light fixture. Instead of furnishing a product that has some type of interlocking or alignment feature so the installer might hope to have a seamless interface between the two halves, the manufacturer has simply SAWED A ONE PIECE MEDALLION IN HALF !! The cut isnt even straight ! The rear surface of the medallion is stepped, so adhesive can only be applied to the outermost inch or so of the circumference. I hope that will provide enough adhesion to hold it in place. Avoid this product if you can.
