dino cake pan

very easy to use, cake came out complete and whole. directions to frost were complete and easy.

As always, Wilton cake pans are superb in quality. I have owned MANY, starting back in 1984 and the quality has been consistent. Can’t wait to make this for my grandson’s birthday!

Worked surprisingly well

Great tin. The cake turned out without sticking or breaking. Good cooking time guidelines and icing decoration tips. I did find that the spikes on the dinosaur back didn't really show though, so I made those up from butter icing.

Glad to have found this expressive T-Rex.

Was easy to find and to purchase. My Grandsons excitement when he saw it was worth everything, or as they say....priceless. Dinosours are our life right now. Was a great find.

I suck at decorating but the instructions and everything helped a lot to keep my cake from turning into a monstrosity.I made the frosting myself so that's also a factor in the turn out

Dinophant/ Elosaur?

I'm just not quite sure how you made an elephant cake out of a dinosaur mold. Not quite sure if I would call this an ELosaur or a Dinophant.

An update on an old favorite.

I made many dinosaur cakes for my two boys when they were little. Those cakes were made using the more traditional T-Rex pan available 30 years ago. I bought this pan for my grandson's third birthday. It is a more cartoon-like dinosaur. Attached is a photo of the finished product. As you can see, you don't need to be an expert for it to come out just great, and you don't need to follow their directions. I just quickly sprayed the pan with oil before putting in the cake mix and it dropped out after cooking without any problem at all. Have fun!
