Great looking but needs some attention.

Product came packaged in the bulk packs. A few were damaged on the tops. This is pine so it was very splintery (sp?) and there was a number of holes from knots. I had to either cut those or not use them. Overall it smells great and the finished product looked great.

The boards were in good condition with an occasional overly rough one that was unusable. I’m happy with the final project.

I absolutely love the results. The product was easy to install and it transformed our living room.

Color was great and everything we expected. The final product was perfect!!

Overpriced and poor quality

As others have posted, I ordered this with high hopes of saving time. I ordered one pack of ash gray and one pack of white washed. The gray looked nothing like it does in the pictures. It looked painted. The white looked more like the pictures, but there was orange sap bleeding through on 3 of the 4 boards. Save yourself a lot of money: buy unfinished shiplap for a fraction of the cost and finish it yourself.

Uneven thickness. Rough surface. Had I known it would be this uneven and rough I would have gone with the more expensive, more finished, boards.

The boards are good for the most part there are a few with cracks. They go up very easy, and they look really nice.

I ordered 2 separate bundles. I now have to redo my fireplace front because the bottom half is charred dark on the edges and the top half is very light with no charting. Very disappointing the difference in color between the 2 orders we placed.

Had hoped that the 8’ boards were the same width...

Had hoped that the 8’ boards were the same width and depth as the 12’ boards but they weren’t the same making it tricky to work with. Installed 1,000 square feet. About 10% of the boards had to be returned and replaced because they were filthy. Many of them were pretty warped but with some muscle were able to get most of them to work out ok. Finished product is beautiful but wish there was more consistency and quality in the lumbar.

Showstopper

In our custom home we covered all our ceilings and some walls with the charred wood and other UFP products. It helps stand the build apart. Products are easy to work with and draw the eyes of anyone coming through.

Beautiful!

Decided to try shiplap for the first time. I picked this product because it can be used either in a contemporary or rustic way. My husband and I did a great job. Its really easy to put up.

Great look for a Floating Bed and Headboard

The wood arrived via UPS in long boxes and were in great condition upon arrival. The wood was easy to work with and fit nicely together when assembled. The look of the grain of the wood really stands out. This wood added a nice touch to the floating bed I built.

This shiplap was beautiful and from what I could tell arrived pkged nicely and in great condition. However, in our house the Smoke White charred wood color had a yellow hue or cast to it. I would have liked a more natural hue so therefore I needed to return it.

The quality of these boards is subpar. Even after looking through all of them the best you can do is pick the least warped ones. Maybe that’s normal with pine? I’m not sure but it made installation very tricky.

Every piece is bowed

Every piece is bowed. Even with face nailing (which I was trying to avoid) they don't sit flush. It ends up looking more like siding than shiplap. Burning the pieces I cut, returning the rest. Buying MDF smooth shiplap instead from a competitor. Not the look I was hoping for, but this looks horrible.
