Solid country style bed

This bed is solid and strong great for a boys or guest room. Have had it for several years and it is still in excellent condition. It makes a solid statement

A bit disappointing

While we wanted something rustic for our mountain cabin, we certainly didn't want something 1/2 done. The bed is raw, rough pine ("fuzzy" on some sides) which if finished would have been ok, but the finish on this bed is only on the side that shows. The headboard had stain on 2 of the 4 sides (inside & top) & there are drips of finish under each slat. The sideboards were stained on 2 sides (top & outside) and the footboard on 3 sides (top, inside & outside). The slats the mattress lay on are thin & I don't expect them to last long. On had an old know in it that had rotted away and left a hole the star of a silver dollar making that one worthless. We'll make our own.

This bed gets 5 stars for looks; 4 stars because the horizontal slats are only half as thick (2x4 vs 4x4) as the top and sides, and; 3 stars due to roughness of the material. I had to gently sand the inside of the foot board to stop it from snagging the bedding. That said, it didn't detract from the looks, but you shouldn't have to sand a piece of furniture for it to be functional. Overall though, it has a great distressed look and is very sturdy with no squeaking or shaking.

Purchased full bed

I wrote a comment at first about missing base support for queen sized bed, but was wrong. The support was in the box. Bed was easy to put together,it's very sturdy wood and looks beautiful in my room. Color is just a little more reddish than the picture shown, but it looks good in our rustic style bedroom.

Recent Purchase

Purchased the full bed. I just had this bed delivered today and found to my surprise that it does not include support for the box spring or mattress. For any heavier mattress, a middle support is required. For a queen sized bed, your mattress will sag even with a box spring if there is no other support than the small ledge on the side rails.

Very impressed

I really liked this bed, the shipping was really good, it was packed very secure. it looks great in our room and we have no complaints. Also very easy to install, I think it took me less than an hour with my wife helping me . The bed has a very rustic style so keep that in mind when ordering as it might not look it as much in the pictures.

Exactly what I needed....

To obtain that rustic lodge feel for my guest bedroom. This bed is SOLID. Was easy to assemble (2 people). I didn't realize that I wouldn't be using my old metal bed frame but that is ok with me! One thing I wasn't expecting is how easy it is for this wood to splinter. It is not finished just stained. It definitely has that cabin feel !,

The Willow Bedroom Set is a perfect solution for decorating on a budget without appearing to do so. My husband appreciated the price point and how well it was packed. I am thrilled that the Bedroom Set looks so stylish and as rich as more expensive furniture. The Willow is a win-win.

very disappointed.

this bed looks like it was made from wooden pallets with an uneven stain was washed over it. the back of the headboard is stapled with balsa wood and broke immediately upon taking it out of the box. one of the slats is warped. i cannot use it. it has not been sanded either so the finish is very rough. (distressed furniture does not mean unfinished). had the photo looked like the actual bed, i would not have purchased it.

My parents needed to replace their old Bedroom Set and I pointed them to 1StopBedroom.com. They were up for a change, and the Willow appealed to their desire for a brand new look. I handled the purchase, as they're not computer savvy. They sure were pleased once their new furniture arrived. My parents asked me to tell you in this review that they can't get over how roomy the drawers are, how sturdy the construction, and how pretty the finish is on their Willow Bedroom Set.
