Kids adventure in the house.

My two boys have their own rooms, but always ended up sleeping in each others room. They are very happy with the bed. It is solid constructions for two active boys 5 and 8. It requires some use of tools to put together, but not too difficult if you fix little things yourself around the house. I put it together myself, but it would be much easier with 2 people. A couple of things, like the roof want to slide out of place before you get the screws in. We bought the add-on slide, which the kids like. We found mattresses that fit in it well at a Swedish yellow and blue store for about a hundred each. Caution - we had some blue paint transfer from the loft to a cloth upholstered chair that the kids were spinning around in.

This will be one of my favorite reviews because it has brought so much joy to my kids. Took my wife and I several hours to assemble, but it was so worth it. To this day they enjoy there bunk bed. It is very sturdy and very heavy. So make sure you assemble at or around where it will be placed. We did not have any pieces missing and did not have anything slowing the build down. At the time we were not able to locate this style of bunkbed with reasonable within the month shipping from anyone else. Overstock came through for us with fast shipping within one week of purchase.

Great purchase

This bed is absolutely perfect t for my 3 and 6 year old boys. Very sturdy and well made. We have had it for about 6 months now and I have absolutely no complaints.

Great fun bed for our 4-year old toddler. One of the pieces came damaged but we found the Overstock service center very helpful in quickly securing a replacement piece. There are a few spots that could use some touch up paint (which unfortunately the supplier could not provide), but overall a good product that our toddler really enjoys.

I was nervous about buying this online site unseen, but it is so adorable. My grandson is 4 and uses the bottom as his playhouse. I purchased the ComforPedic from Beautyrest 8-inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress for the beds. It is so comfortable that I slept on it and got a great nights sleep. He loves his new bed(s) and the bed is sturdy, love the colors and looks just like the picture will last him for a long time

Bed took about 3 hours to put together but we also didn't have alot of room to spread everything out. In the end the kids loved it so it's a win. Structurally it seems pretty sturdy.

great bed but smells of chemicals

Fabulous bed that's exactly what we were hoping for. Took a while to build. Reason for 4 instead is the SMELL. Nearly a month later it still makes my daughter's room smell of chemicals. We've run the air purifier and opened windows and it hasn't completely disappated yet.

This is the best bed . Quality is too good even adult can sleep on it . Come with detailed instruction . If you follow all instructions easy to assemble . Love it

Great Price - Great Quality

Great quality and I couldn't beat the price! We actually decided to paint it purple for my daughter. It is real wood and good quality that allowed us to paint it and she loves it!

Love it! My 4 year old grandson was so excited! He loved it❤️ Took my son about 2 hrs by himself to but it together.

7 year old loves this!

My daughter loves this! I hired someone to assemble it and with two guys it took about 4.5 hours. The curtains don't stay attached, but otherwise it is great and holding up a few months later.

Sturdy, fun, and easily assembled

4-1/2 stars Pros: 1. The kit's instructions are easily followed 2. The materials are well manufactured and all holes line up 3. The hardware is sturdy 4. The finished bed seems very sturdy and strong. Cons: 1. Flexing of the "shutters" when moving one of the wall pieces caused the wall piece to splinter at the shutter mounting bracket (used wood glue to re-secure... no big deal. See below for way to avoid this) 2. The hex-head tools are a little cheap and one was warped and stripped by the end (luckily they give you two) 3. The velcro adhesive for the cloth wall pieces isn't very sticky. Other thoughts: 1. Use work-gloves when assembling. Using the little hex-head tools so often gave me blisters on my thumbs after the day of assembly. No big deal and not the fault of the manufacturer. 2. When removing the pieces from the carton, remove the shutters from the lower wall piece immediately to avoid the wall piece splintering when moving it around. Once the bed is assembled, screw the shutters back on. 3. Overall, the assembly went well and quickly. I did need another person to help with some places, but everything went smoothly. My kids LOVE it. I also installed color-changing strip lights (5 meters in length) around the perimeter of each bed chamber so each child gets their own light to use. They now have a dance club in their room Very pleased with this kit.

Great bed kids love the tents. Was very easy to assemble took me 3 hours start to finish. Finish was just like the pictures. Wish the roof went on both sides though.

missing a box, pieces damaged, and pieces missing

The bed comes in 4 boxes. I got two one day, one the next day, and had to contact Overstock to get the 4th box which arrived 11 days later. In opening the boxes I discovered two pieces (the shelf end caps) which have still not arrived but which Overstock said they would expedite. The end of the bed with the blue window had a big chip out of it and one of the planks in that same end had an 18 inch split in the wood which I tried to repair with wood glue. Neither affected the structural integrity as far as I know but cosmetically it was not good. The instructions for the most part were good except for one piece which we left off because the holes drilled in it didn't match up with the holes in the piece it was supposed to go with and it didn't seem to have a purpose. My grandkids have not yet seen the bed but I think they will like it. I will keep you posted. I would probably not buy from bed manufacturer again because of the aggravation.
