The plants were exactly or better than pictured! They arrived fast and very well packaged. I liked them so much I placed a second order and was just as pleased as I was with the original order.

This is such a cute little plant that doesn’t get too big and is perfect for full sun. It stays green and looks great.

The Dragon Princess cryptomerias arrived in excellent condition. Packed well and on time. Very satisfied.

Much Smaller Than Described

I ordered four of these in the 2-gallon size. The plants were supposed to be at least 10 inches tall. Mine are just about 6 inches at the tallest point, and they look lost in the 2-gallon pot. For the price I paid, the plants should be as they were described on the webpage. Because the shrubs are attractive and healthy, and because it's a hassle to return them, I'm going to keep them. But I'll be waiting quite some time for them to reach the 10-inch mark. I am not happy. I've purchase a ton of plants from the Homedepot website, and have been mostly pleased. This order is so blatantly not what was described, I may be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Bigger plant than expected. The stems had many brown sections but I will remove those before repotting. Overall good health of the plant.

I am so pleased with the Dragon Prince Cryptomeria. They were package well, and in great condition.

I ordered another one because the first was beautiful and a great size this one was not as large and not as healthy looking. Hoping it grows.

Disappointing in Full Sun

I planted 5 of these last fall. They made it through a cold winter in East Texas. They were beautiful until the extreme heat and drought we have experienced this summer. We lost 2 that were getting total sun in spite of watering every other day.. Im going to purchase replacements and plan to cover them with shade cloth next year to try to get them through the summer. Hoping that once they are well established, they’ll do better.

I've tried so many plants along my front porch but the area gets hot, afternoon son in dry Texas. Add climate change and Mother Nature's below freezing winters, and nothing lives on my front porch flower bed. Enter the Dragon Prince. He moved in and has, so far, looked amazing. People now stop and complement this new prince of my garden. He arrived so healthy and happy and seems to love his new spot in my front yard. I liked him so much, I have ordered 3 more so I now have 4 princes. Love them!

Nice Plant

Came with a bit of yellowing on the folge but nice size and shape will fertilize and water as needed for week to let it settle in to the new area. Have high hopes for this to be future Bonsai.

Disappointed

The instructions say zone 9 full sun. 1 out of 4 I purchased survived the Houston. Texas summer heat and that one was in part sun under my tree. They arrive beautiful and stayed beautiful until the summer. So I do not recommend in full sun.

Superb but did not survive full sun in North TX

I loved this plant in my rock garden in the spring but the Texas heat killed it. I liked it so much I am going to try again but will put 2 in locations with some shade. I am planting in fall so hopefully the roots will be more developed out by next summer. I am also putting a pancake arborvitae with these to compliment them.

Do not put in full sun

I bought 4 of these. They did great planted in spring. Come summer in Texas heat, only one did not turn brown. That one was in partial shade slight shaded by a crape myrtle tree. They were so pretty and unusual plus the deer did not touch it. Unfortunately, total waste of good money.

This plant is fine, but the Sonic Boom Red Reblooming...

This plant is fine, but the Sonic Boom Red Reblooming weigela died . It put out a very few leaves and then dried up. Will you replace it, please?

Glad I purchased. A different evergreen that deer will not eat. The only problem was I needed two more and they were out of stock quick.
