Works good for ice cream sandwiches. I let the ice cream sit out for five minutes to soften. Place in ice cream container, twist, and release on cookies.

It works very well. What we discovered is that to have a more solid sandwich after making it we place it in the freezer for a few minutes.

Love it, kids love it too. The only downside if the line that is used to cut the bottom of the scoop will eventually break. Would be nice if they had instructions on how to replace for when the time comes.
