This chair definitely has character, and looks every bit as fluffy IRL as online. The seat is quite firm, however, and seems a bit higher and deeper than "normal" chairs. I'm 5'4" and can barely reach the ground while sitting; those who are taller or have proportionately longer legs might find this chair more to their liking.

The chairs arrived in individual boxes - packaged to perfection. They are exactly as I expected with nice firm, comfortable cushion.

Delays and Unreachable Customer Service

I purchased this item on August 17, and was informed that my item would be shipped within 2-3 weeks. On September 14 I received an email stating that my order had shipped, but trackingg information only shows that order was processed on August 21, and had no updates since then. I reached out on September 24th through the online chat (now disabled) and was told I would get an update, but didn't received anything. I tried calling but got redirected to voicemail. Emails were not replied to and online chat didn't work anymore. I paid $250 for shipping and had absolutely no response from Lulu & Georgia. On September 29, I posted complaints on Instagram and Facebook and was told I would receive an email from customer support. I finally received an email from the shipping company on September 30th to schedule my delivery for October 10th (almost 12 weeks after my purchase). While I like my item, I will likely never buy from this store again due to its poor customer service, and the fact that shipping is extremely expensive considering the delays I faced. The interior designer who recommended this store to me has told me that complaints have increased tremendously over the past months, and she will no longer recommend this store to her clients. I am disappointed, to say the least.

Modern, soft and dreamy!

I love this chair so much that it is my all time favorite! One of the highlights of this Ashland arm chair is the fact that the wood frame and legs made from reclaimed doors. The faux fir is so luxurious that I can’t tell it is faux and neither can my friends, now they too want one! This Ashland chair fits well with my Boho mid century modern lifestyle! I LOVE it!
