I was replacing a broken ball catch on the bathroom door.This was exactly the same size and functionality as the existing ball catch. It was very easy to install and works perfectly. Glad this product was available in store at HD as I wanted to hold it up next to the existing ball catch to be sure it would work.

Spring throw height was significantly shorter than the one I replaced in the door. It fit, but the ball-spring distance was too short mandating that I modify the door/catch to be able to use it.

Strong and adjustable

I am so glad it is adjustable in height. Makes it so you can get exactly what you want to keep a door closed.

This product is very cheaply made. Also the measurements they give are off which means it does not fit correctly in hole.

My old catch and strike broke and I could not close the closet door. I bought this new one and it fit perfectly as a replacement for my old one. The door is working great now and I am very happy with my purchase. It was easy to install and fit perfectly in place of my old one.
