Almost useless

Very flimsy, easily torn. Weaker than a sandwich bag. As another reviewer wrote, it has holes punched in it, presumably to prevent you from suffocating should you climb into it and tie yourself in. So, it's not waterproof, which is the purpose I bought it for. You can't handle the mattress after it's in the bag because it tears so easily.

Not good for storing or protecting a mattress

Very flimsy and tears easily. A garbage bag is much stronger. It is supposed to protect from dust and but has little round holes all over it. They look like paper punch holes.

I wanted to get this as my daughter has a spare twin mattress under her bed for when friends sleep over. The plastic was a lot thinner than expected. It’s basically a mattress sized plastic bag. There was also not way the seal it. But on the other hand it does the job and stops getting dust and cat hair on the mattress when not being used.

We had recently renovated our daughters room and put her mattress in our shed outside for temporary storage. This mattress cover was perfect for protecting her mattress from dirt and bugs while it was out there for 2 weeks! It fit perfectly and my husband and I got it covered in minutes with minimal struggle. It gave me piece of mind that her mattress would be safe and remain clean! Definitely recommended!

The Duck Mattress Cover worked perfectly. We moved and wanted to protect our mattresses from dirt and dust and they worked perfectly. I ended up using them on our twin mattresses in the kids room with a thick mattress pad on top. It has saved them from many spills and accidents!! Well worth the cost!!

This mattress cover is effective in keeping mattress clean and dry. However, it is very thin. It has held up and so far no rips and or tears. Stays in place very well. There is no plastic odor.

I prefer to keep the mattress as close to a new condition as possible as a good quality one is fairly expensive. I actually put this directly on top of the mattress and them use a mattress pad over it. If there's any spills, etc this cover guarantees the mattress stays perfect! I bought a twin size but will be buying one each for my queen and full.

The Duck mattress cover is a clear plastic cover for your mattress. I would say say this would be used for things such as transporting a mattress to keep it from getting dirty. The plastic is thin and tears pretty erasing, howwver, with a little attention and care it’s not terrible either:

This lasted 1 night on my bed. I have 2 toddlers that sneak in my room in the middle of the night and I thought this mattress protector would give me peace of mind to any accidents. It's just a clear thin plastic bag open on one end. Barely fits my full size mattress and every time I move I hear the plastic wrinkle . This type of protector just isn't for me but will do the job.

We got this for our daughter's move from Texas to NJ. Her mattresses were new and we didn't want anything to happen to them or any "critters" to get in them during the move. It was so easy to use, kept her mattresses clean and protected. I was pleasantly surprised that even with all of the rain and humidity we encountered, her mattresses were clean and dry when we arrive and unpacked everything. This is a very inexpensive "insurance policy" for an expensive item.

My daughter recently moved out. I needed to store her bedroom furniture. I can't say how much this product came in handy. It was very easy to use. It is so nice to be able to put her bed into storage, and not have to worry about it getting ruined. I would recommend this product to anyone that has to store a mattress. Great product

This mattress pad fit so well on the bed no sagging was easy to tuck between the mattress and box spring. The fitted sheet fit over it very well with no extra tugging or pulling to get it on. Didn’t bunch up under the sheet at night. Great item to protect the mattress.

During our move to Texas I used the twin/full mattress cover. Being Duck brand I figured it would be heavy duty. When putting the cover on, I accidentally rip it with my finger nails. It really wasn't long enough for a pillow/top double matress, because I pulled a little hard trying to fit it around the mattress. When I went to move matress, it ripped again.

The duck mattress cover states on the description that is heavy clear cover, in my opinion it is not very heavy. I would prefer a much thicker cover if I was storing a mattress. Not very impressed. Probably be o.k. for moving a mattress to keep the dirt and grime off.

I have a twin bed in my guest bedroom and needed a mattress cover for it, both to keep the mattress clean and for protection if I need to move it. I highly recommend this mattress cover. It seems to be made of quality material that won't easily tear. It is also clear, so it does not stand out or look odd in any way. If you are anticipating a move, or just simply want to keep your mattress clean, I recommend this cover.

A must use to protect your mattress ~ especially if you have kids or pets. This particular mattress cover is for a twin/ full . Heavy clear cover fits over pillow top mattress & is reusable. It is 30 cu ft. 53” x 84” x 12” . Works great!

I received this last week and I will have to say it is a little too much on the thin side for actually being effective as a mattress cover for everyday use. Maybe if you are just putting the mattress in storage or something like that. But for everyday use. It is so thin it would definitely snag and tear easy.

Good but difficult to carry. It's not a heavy duty cover but perfect for a move or if you know where you'll store it. Slipped right on and I folded down the opening with tape. Hoping not to move any time soon, but will use this again if so!

I received the Duck brand Twin/Full Bed Mattress Cover and I was highly disappointed. It states it heavy duty. No it’s as thin as Saran Wrap. It doesn’t stay in place and would be so much better if it was fitted. Needless to say I will not be getting anymore or using this one it’s been taken off the bed. Not what I’m looking for.
