feels good under foot

I was tired of coir mats that wear out and don't offer much in terms of scraping mud off boots. I like that this is recycled rubber. not so pokey like coir for going in and out of the house into the deck in socks.

I have these at every door. Had them when we were kids and knew my Mom swore by them dirt and water go right through. Easy to clean just pick up and shake then sweep or blow where it was.

Bought a 2.5 ×5' mat.

Its friendly

Its foot impact friendly and not too soft. I can use it as a work surface on a table top and or on the floor on my knees even in shorts. Its gaps stop small parts from being lost when dropped, like keys at the door or nuts and bolts at the work table or on the floor at the vise work bench. The older it gets the softer touch friendly it becomes.

Rugged, durable, and performs well

I wanted a mat that would allow "stuff" to go through it, not collect in it. It will be out in the rain, so I didn't want water to collect on my mat and make it soggy. It's heavy, appears very durable, and is just what I wanted. I am happy with my purchase.

Delighted with this mat ! Good price, sturdy. Is PERFECT at my green-house door. Helps tremendously with catching mud before it can get tracked into the house !

Sorry Gempler's, won't reorder soon

I ordered the Gempler's mat a few months ago after having my previous tire mat about 30 years. My Gempler's replacement is larger and even studier than its predecessor - unusual to have a product today better than one bought so many years ago. (Sounds like an old geezer speaking.) With the mat so sturdy and laying so flat, I won't have to worry about tripping over curling corners as on turf mats.
