Great replacement head

Replaced a 1.75 gpm shower head with the 2.5 gpm head and very pleased with the increased water volume. The turbine delivery system was more pleasing. The old head was like being under a watering can.

Fantastic shower head for the price! Easy to install, just screw on, plumber's tape is included.

If I could give it more stars, I would. Best showerhead I have ever had by far. Installed one in both bathrooms and gave one to my sister-in-law (SIL). My wife, SIL and I all agree it is far superior to anything we have ever tried. My wife and SIL say it is really superb for washing long hair.

Very disappointed with the purchase process! I saw this showerhead recommended by Consumer Reports, so went on line to see where I could buy one locally. A Google search said Home Depot carried it at a favorable price, so I went to the website of the HD store nearest me to make sure they carried it at that store. It indicated that indeed they did. When I got to the store the floor person said their store didn't carry it, regardless of what the store's website said. I asked her to check other HD stores near me to see if they carried it. She checked her computer and said no other HD store in this metro area of 4.5 million people did carry it. She told me the only way I could buy it from HD was to order on line. I wanted the green colored one, with the chrome colored one as my second choice, but she said the only color I could order was blue. I had her order it anyway, as I had already invested my time in researching and traveling to the retail store and I needed it ASAP. She informed me that if I wanted to have it delivered to my home, there would be a substantial charge. Otherwise it would be free to deliver to her store and I'd have to schlep back to the store to pick it up when it came in. As for the product itself, it is FANTASTIC! Does everything it promises. I'd give it 5 stars. My criticism is strictly with Home Depot, not with this product. In the future, I will not trust HD's website, and order products like this directly on line, to be delivered to my home!

Provides a smooth relaxing stream of water. The head is adjustable a few degrees in every direction. However the movement is not smooth but seems to be a bit catchy as it is adjusted. Could be just my unit or perhaps there is a fitting I could loosen a bit. Not concerned. Delivers plenty of flow. I believe it will actually help me save water over my previous showerhead as the stream is much more efficient in this model. The only minor thing I would add as a feature is the ability to tighten the spray pattern as it widens a bit too much for me as the stream reaches my feet

This was very easy to install and provides an excellent shower experience with relatively low water pressure in a 90 year old house. The Speakman Reaction provides an great, well patterned spray and makes the most of the available water pressure. I purchased it because of an item in Consumer Reports and it lives up to it's billing. We have been using it for only a week now but expect it will continue to work well.

My wife and I really love this shower head. Works great and the price is great. I had to buy an adjustable shower arm. This shower head doesn't work well with a shower stall. It was too low and hit the back of the stall. The shower arm puts the shower head above so the water comes down on top of you. Very happy with it.

I do experience a much stronger spray from this shower head. I do note that when I turn the shower ON, the water immediately starts spraying at full pressure, blasting me with cold water until it warms up. Trick now is to stand directly below the shower head, out of its direct blast, until the water warms up. Our old shower heads seemed to have slight delay before spraying so I could jump out of the shower until the water warmed up. Not with this big boy.

Gives the nicest spray we have gotten from any showerhead so far. The unit has a turbo effect from the water turning a little turbine which seems to accelerate the water droplets providing a much more powerful stream.

Great Shower Head

I'm on a well with 30-50 lbs of pressure. While my pressure varies, this shower head maintains an excellent spray flow regardless of the pressure. Nice spray pattern also. Highly recommended.

Engery Saving Product

The shower head was easy to install and included Teflon tape in the box. It appears to be a water miser but delivers adequate water pressure from the shower head. Never dawn on me that a shower head could be quiet but this one is. Would recommend this product to anyone needing a shower head.

Easy way to upgrade shower

I learned about this showerhead in either the November or December issue of Consumer Reports. They recommended it as a great Christmas gift. Homedepot.com showed the product out of stock. However, in January they sent me an email indicating it was back in stock. The price was right, and I knew I could return it to a local store if I didn't like the product. Well, it is a gorgeous jade green showerhead - super easy to install - and the water pressure is very nice. I installed 1 in my teen's shower and the other in our master bath shower. Have been using both for 2 weeks and no complaints! Also, I prefer it to our previous Delta because it has more concentrated spray.. and my spouse was always spraying against the shower door (with some water always leaking out on to the tile floor.. this new showerhead minimizes the extra water. Thank you Consumer Reports & Home Depot.

All that it claims

I was looking to replace a shower head with something attractive, used low water volume but strong spray pattern and this showerhead lives up to all of those features. Easy to install too! It is a nonadjustable head, but frankly we'd rarely use that feature on the old head.

Best purchase ever

This shower head is wonderful. It does its job as described and beautifully. The spray is powerful and yet not hurting you. The installation is extremely easy. Besides, the price is good too. Every family should have it. Now I really enjoy the shower.
