Generally disappointed.

I bought this because I bought an upright mini freezer from this company and was very happy. The mini fridge came smushed, twice. I want to like this mini fridge, however both times it was delivered it came damaged and don't feel like wasting my time trying a third time. I bought this from a big box store which (first time) had it delivered to the store and second time tried having it delivered to my house. Both times it looks like something smushed it. First time it was critical damage where the door would not close/seal, second time it is just squished to the point it leans a little one way (by an inch or so) and has bent sheet metal/track. Both times box was not damaged so not sure where the damage is occurring. I'll hook it up and see if it works and see if I can live with knowing I bought/paid full price for something that came damaged. Generally disappointed. Less

good minifridge

my new danby mini fridge is working great. it's nice and quiet and is very roomy inside. I had another one that lasted 20 years and decided to stick with the reliability of Danby.

Dimensions in Description are wrong!

I am extremely frustrated. I searched and searched to find a frig that would go in a specific place in my family room bar and when I received this it was not the dimensions in the description and will not fit. This needs to be updated immediately on the website. Now I have a refrigerator that I have to figure out how to return. The dimensions stated 15.16 by 14.16 by 23.16 inches and a smooth back design. It is not a smooth back design and the dimensions are 17.7 x 20 x 27.

Danby 2.6 Compact Refrigerator

Same refrigerator that was installed about twelve years ago in the common rooms of the nursing home, I have just moved into. I wanted a small refrigerator in my own room. If your paperwork had a small Canadian flag or maple leaf to identify your Canadian (local) ownership it would have made the decision from whom to buy the refrigerator much easier. Thanks. JCJ

Im not sure what to say about this mini frig. The seal around the door didnt even come close to sealing the door, therefore the frig would just freeze and the ice built up on the back wall. The compressor couldnt keep up and we had water all over our floor. The solution was to send a new seal but it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get it. Unacceptable so I returned it.

This is a great fridge. I was looking for one with no mini freezer which just takes up space and we never use it anyway. Lots of room for bottles and cans. Amazed at the shipment packing- it was so thoughtfully packaged and there was no damage to anything. It just popped right out of the box. Shelves are nice- they have a decorative design in the glass. Love that it’s lighted inside. Easy to control the temperature. Perfect size and takes up less space than I imagined. Looks sharp. Highly recommend!

It is a nice mini frig, but I was unhappy that it came with a dent. The dent was not caused by the shipping company, but had to have been done by the manufacturer. Several other people spoke of the same thing happening. Not sure I would trust Wayfair again.

Exactly what was needed. A mini fridge with no freezer--provides more space than those with a freezer and has excellent storage availability. Suits our back porch well. Have had Danbys before and they are always a superb product.

Our last Danby lasted outside in a covered grill area for over 15 years. The unit was still working when we decided to replace it, it has some mold starting in the bottom of the unit and was leaking a little. But what a great product, we hope our new one lasts as long.

Right out of the box, I noticed the product had a dent in the door. (refurb? keep reading) No big deal. I turned the unit on and originally it was ice cold, about 26F. I had to do some adjusting to the thermostat - and even after doing that, some food is freezing in it, which is the reason I ordered a new one (same problem with a different brand) - also, I noticed the bottom of the door is missing a washer which is causing the door not to completely cover the space needed, leaving a slight GAP in the space between the door and the frame. this refrigerator has manual defrost and that is required once every 3 weeks or so because even after adjusting temp as high as possible (halfway point or so, keeps the warmest spot inside around 40.5-41 with my digital wireless thermometer) the back of the unit freezes and the drain hole freezes, causing a manual defrost to be required.Overall: it’s cold. it will freeze your potato salad, and freeze your soda (and make it nice and flat for you) - so if that sounds good, buy one.Note: PERFECT for a water cooler, or for anything you may not mind freezing somewhat. (my potato salad was half frozen with the thermostat at 50% of full power) and the fridge was 1/2 full for reference. I bought it a couple of months ago and I’m already on my third defrost. Less

This is my 2nd one of these. The 15 yr. old one has been moved to the garage, having always had a problem building ice-dams at the interior drain hole no matter what I did or how many times I moved it; it now works perfectly for some reason... This new one has Never had that problem! I took a chance on this model again because it's the only one I could find without a hinge cover that sticks up and keeps me from being able to put my office printer on top of it and opening the bottom paper drawer, and it's All Fridge (no freezer) which is what I want for beverages/snacks in the home office. I chose Best Buy over the 2 other retailers because of their return policy in case of a problem, and they have a local store to return it to; the return shipping $ would have been ridiculous. Energy Star.

Perfect replacement for the mini-fridge that died. Quick shipping - hardly any time from when ours died and the replacement arrived. Appreciate the extra fridge space since there is not freezer.

Excellent. Well put together . Door operates smoothly, runs quietly, and maintains even temperature. We initially used it as a second frig but when we moved we put it upstairs in the laundry room for easy access to drinks and snacks for people watching tv in the second floor den. Very pleased. Have had it at least 6 months.

It is a great mini fridge. Low noise and efficient. Clearly deserves 5 stars. The only reason I have given it 4 because it uses a flammable refrigerant. Need to be extra careful while handling it.

Love the size. Lots of room. Using as an overflow in the kitchen. Nice and cold.

Nice wine cooler

This wine cooler is very nice. I have plenty of room for my wine. The dual temperature control make sure the wine is at the correct temperature. Some of my wine bottles are too large.

Exceeds Expectations

Pros:-Gets cold! Much better than my old one when new-Reversible Door-Lightweight-Adjustable Feet for leveling-Magnets can be placed on the door-Uses magnets to hold the door closed-Extremely Quiet! (A must when using in the bedroom ^_^)-Door has a can rack (Holds 8), 2liter bottle slot (Holds 1) and a tall-can slot (Holds two)-Shelves can be adjusted (slightly)-Temperature adjustment with an "Off Position" if neededCons:-I haven't ran across any yet... Maybe time will uncover some hidden complaint, but as of yet I have nothing negative to say about it.
