This utensil holder is a solid piece and will go with any decor. The color is a rich shade and the design is transitional.

shorter than expected

It is shorter and lighter than expected but still does the job. this is just to hold some spatulas and whisk to free up drawer space.

I was not expecting them to be so small. I can hardly fit that many kitchen utensils in them.

Long wait for damaged goods

I ordered three at once. Two showed up on the first, the last on the ninth. One of the three was split. Not a big deal to me to fix it, but I can't recommend damaged goods to others.

Item is as pictured, a medium brown, smooth wood. The holder is sturdy, with a low center of gravity. I bought it for it’s small footprint to fit in the spot where I need it. I use it for my smaller/shorter utensils: serving forks and spoons; small sized cooking spoons and spatulas.

This is small but I found it very useful for my small kitchen tools/gadget that get lost in my large utensil holder or drawer. I use this to store thermometers, bread lame, and other small specialty kitchen tools. It was a good solution for me, but it is too small for most kitchen utensils.
