This bookcase is solid and looks absolutely beautiful once I conditioned, stained and sealed it. The pre-drilled holes line up well. There were some cross grain scratches that I needed to sand out, but the product recommended sanding anyway, so no additional steps.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of this bookcase! It was beautiful and once it was stained it was even more beautiful. It took the wood stain easily and was well worth the effort. I plan on buying more furniture from this brand and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bookcase!
