DO NOT BUY
This product is horrible! Literally taped together and doesn’t say together. Such a waste of money! It’s cheap
Simple, cheap, and good
This was super fast and simple to put together, and it seems sturdy enough. It was a great price too. I was surprised how hard it was to find just a single cube, which was all I needed to make a lamp just a bit taller.
2 separate purchases: 1st when relocating during COVID quarantine and then this year for a temporary office change. Love that the product is light and portable—this especially saves packing time when frequently moving. The shelves were quick and easy to assemble. Only 1 of 6 shelves had an issue with the adhesive not firmly sticking, but this in no way affected the 115 lb weight it could bear. Really great that the materials have no off-putting odors and are recyclable. I expect to keep the shelves for a long while: They bring familiarity to constantly changing work/life environments.
The materials are very flimsy. It fell apart a couple of times and then I put it back together reinforcing with super glue where the sticky film is.
Instructions were easy to follow.
That items were made from recycled materials and easy to assemble. Good directions allowed them to go together with ease and they seem fairly sturdy. I liked them so much I purchased 3 more! The other thing I like about these units is they fit nicely on my existing closet shelves side by side and therefore create an additional horizontal storage shelf above.
Not able to secure it but otherwise good
I really like these cubes but when I ordered this one it did not come with holes in the top to secure it to another cube on top of it. The ones with the door has that hole but I have nothing to secure it. I’m worried the one on top will topple over when my grandchildren open the door to get their toys out. Bummer design.
Extra Walk in Closet storage organizer
Great snap together with wood dowels and 3M double-sided sticky tape no screws needed they go together rather quickly I bought nine of them in Black QBs to stack three across and three high in my closet for clothes and shoes for some extra storage in my walk-in closet. Told customer service I was very satisfied they have a phone number and they text me back to ask me how my new storage cabinets are working great customer service!! Thank you
Nice but not as sturdy as I hoped
I really love the idea of these, the colors, and I love that they are eco-friendly and non-toxic. I did not find that they are working for my toddler's room, though. Due to the type of material, I cannot really drill/screw into them and so I am unable to anchor them to the wall (I had mine stacked in a cube of 4). They do hold up well to weight on the top but if you put any sideways pressure on them at this point (it's been about a year) they do tilt/lean and will lift easily up apart. May work well for other needs, though, for example in an older child's room or office space.
Fascinating
The cubes are totally awesome. I think I've bought around 30 of them already and replaced all bookshelves I had, plus using them for storage. This is a breakthrough technology that allows you to have the same strength with more than 2x lighter materials. You should check their website. If used properly, a 200 lbs person can stand on them. I am stacking them for bookshelves in 4 rows and have no problem with 4 rows fully stuffed with heavy books. Comments like ""it feels too cheap so I wouldn't trust to put any weight on them"" are pathetic. All I can think is ""I find your lack of faith disturbing"" (Darth Vader's quote) :) Pros: 1. Extremely light. No furniture I know even remotely matches the lightness of these cubes. 2. Portable. You can move them around very easily and stack the way you want. I'll move soon and I am thinking of just packing each cube in a cardboard box, without taking my stuff out of cubes. That's my plan and there's no reason to believe it won't work out. 3. Look cool. White. 4. The height of ""Plus"" cubes is just right to comfortably hold A4/Letter-size file folders. The height of these ""normal"" ones is more appropriate for shorter books. 5. Flexibility. You can buy as many as you want, and slowly add more. Cons: 6. Building them takes time. Would take me about an hour to build 4-5 cubes (taking into account time needed to take the packaging to recycling). Building wooden furniture with screws is faster if you're good at it, and building these cannot be too fast just because you need to line everything up very slowly and carefully, and you need time to carefully remove protector from the 3M tape, etc. 7. If you were not careful at building time, you've wasted $20, there's no way to re-do. I've wasted none and built around 30 of them, but I slightly misaligned one or two cubes (maybe a millimeter or two) and I can easily see how it can be totally screwed up if you're not careful. 8. It's critically important to use them upright, and not on sides (I can see how they can break if used on sides) and it's critically important to hold them from the bottom (from under the cube) when moving them around. Overall, it's well worth the price, although I wouldn't buy them if they were more expensive, and I'd definitely buy more of them.
Stackable Cube Not Good
The construction of the item was not what I expected. I must have missed the detail that said it was made of recycled cardboard. Had I known that I would not have purchased it. I would have just paid more money to have wood or simulated wood from IKEA. However, I just needed it to create heighth for space on top of my dresser and it did the job. So, I will not return it but be aware if you are looking for stackable cubes with strength this is NOT the item to buy. The look fits in with the rest of the cubes and shelves so I am ok with it but will be more careful in reading the detailed description the next time I am looking for storage cubes.

I have had these for over 5 months now and love them.
"They way they are manufactured made me pretty skeptical. The idea made sense, but putting it to action, I had my doubts. Well I purchased them and they are very easy to assemble. Just GO SLOW. To make sure your lines are straight and even, if you are anal like me.
Surprisingly sturdy!
"These are easy to assemble and easy to stack and attach to each other in whatever configuration you might need. The actual zBoards feel just like the press boards Sauder or Ikea furniture is made from, you'd have no idea it was paper if no one told you.
Perfect storage cube for the top of my desk!
This cube is exactly what I needed to organize the top of my desk! Was very easy to put together. I would have preferred more of a navy blue than the royal blue, but knew that when I ordered it. Gives my desk, which is in my living room a more polished, presentable appearance. I just tuck everything away in the cubes. I think the posting said they can't be turned on their side, and I understand why - the way the top attaches, it needs to be the top, to ensure that the cube stays together. There is an adhesive strip and dowels, but still I wouldn't trust that if I were to turn the cube on it's side. They would fit better on my desk that way, but this is fine. I purchased 2 and am really glad that I did.
Definitely worth buying!
"I purchased 4 of these in blue and just ordered 4 more. Not only was it very easy to put together but was quite strong and sturdy (I admit that I had doubts at first). It looks great and gives me the ability to be flexible with the design as I live in an Attic Apartment with sloping walls. The only thing to watch out for is the sharp edges on the white backing board. I was running my fingers along the side to press them firmly in place and got a deep paper cut easily. I was more worried that the blood would spill on the white backboard than anything, as I can survive paper cuts. :)
They are well made and easy to put together
"I have 3 of these, in different sizes, in my craft room. They are well made and easy to put together. Obviously, use common sense when loading them, especially on the top, but I have books stacked on one of them and a DVR on top of another without issue. I would not load these in such a way as to have heavy items leaning against one side, which is also common sense, if you follow how you build these - heavy items could push a side out. However, stacked work well. I use them to display dolls, so the issue is not there. The color is as pictured. They are expensive, so I only use them to spotlight special dolls, as I could not afford to design a whole shelving unit using these, and I prefer the study IKEA Expedit/Kallax units for heavier/sturdier storage.
Easy organizational tool everyone needs
Excellent product, as long as you use it how it is intended. These are made of PAPER. That being said, they're an eco-friendly product that are so easy to assemble and look great. I've got three in my office I purchased over a year ago - two support my monitors for my standing desk. The third supports a plant grow light and some small office plants. I'm careful to wipe up any water drips, and they've not gotten any damage after a year of plants on them, and the grow light hasn't caused the dark espresso wood grain to fade at all. These look nice, weigh nothing and are sturdy enough to trust my monitors on them. I'm about to buy more to use in my closets to add vertical storage space to my upper shelves.

This organization unit is produced with recycled materials and is the perfect size for books and incidental objects. It is attractively finished in white which allows it to match with almost any décor. This cube as extremely easy to put together. The pegs provided slid into the holes in the edges of each of the side boards and, because of the precision of the drilled holes in the top and back boards, just pushing the cube together finished the job. Each of the edges was provided with double stick tape which, when the protective tape as removed solidified the entire unit as it went together. Finished it made an excellent and attractive storage unit for my books and instruments and a good strong resting place for my printer. This cube is made so that it can be mated with other cubes of the same size for an attractive set of shelving boxes. If you decide to have this cube as the final in a stack or used alone attractive caps are provided for the stacking holes on the top of the cube (your can barely see them in the pic.) Instructions are easy to follow and show how to construct a single unit or mate them with others.

Wow! I am throughly impressed by this. When I opened it, I thought that this was never going to work. But after putting together, in a few minutes, it was pretty neat. While I wouldn’t put a heavy item on this and you can’t put heavy stuff on the particle board ones either, it works well in a kids room or somewhere it wouldn’t hold heavy objects. I will order more.

Great organizer cube for quilting or craft supplies. Your favorite magazines will also stand up in the cube. It is pearl white so it looks clean and crisp from a design standpoint. Organization is nice to have in a room with lots of small stuff so it doesn't just look like clutter. These can be stacked with the little wood dowels. It looks like wood from a distance but it is lightweight so it can go anywhere. You can add more cubes as you de clutter your room. Assembly was easy and took about 5 minutes.
