Excellent Reverse Osmosis System

I have had reverse osmosis systems in my Home for the last 40 years. Two completely different manufactures. Without a doubt, hands-down, this is one of the most efficient systems that I have ever owned. By design superior. I have a PPM meter that I monitor the water with. My Eco Pure reverse osmosis water is consistently Cleaner than bottled water.

These EcoPure filters work great. They fit the RO unit with no leaks, easy to replace and last a long time. The Home Depot.com ordering and store pickup system is terrific.

Replaced old system

I have had our system for about a year and a bit works fine no issues, had one spell where filters did not last as long but this was at season change when our water gets more sediment so I don’t attribute this to the filters

Leaking and Poor Filter Replacement Availability

In the 6 months of having this filter, I have had a couple leaks come from the faucet . The system causes water to come out from the faucet and leak all over my counter, as well as leak into the cabinet under my sink where the filter is stored and causes water damage to my shelves. In addition, the filter replacement almost cost the same as a brand new unit and on top of that you have to purchase each filter individually when they should all come in a set of 3. I bought replacements and I got 2 of the same filters when I need 3 different filters with 3 different colour tabs. This only makes the process of replacing the filters more difficult and time consuming.

Filters

Not so easy to change filters somtimes. You have to get the right tension when you twist or it sprays all over. I did not get much trouble shooting advice last time when I could not get the filter membrane in. I was told to order a new part, but I figured it out on my own.

Works as expected

Tap water goes from about 200ppm to 0 with these things in combination with the RO membrane. Lasted me longer than advertised as well.
