I bought these as halogen replacements for my Broan QS2 range hood and found the same problem as ...
I bought these as halogen replacements for my Broan QS2 range hood and found the same problem as other reviewers. When I tried both bulbs in the package in either socket, they did not light up, but they both work in any other lamp socket I installed them. I conclude there is some design or manufacturing problem in the Broan unit that keeps these bulbs from making full contact in the sockets. Other than that, these bulbs seem perfectly fine, and this would be a review of the Broan unit except that this model is no longer made. I don't know about their other models, but I advise against using these bulbs for this specific application.
