Stroller is great / Fedex delivery was a nightmare!

This is the second PetGear stroller I have had. The first one was old and the zipper failed. I will use it for my 2 Flemish giant rabbits. They already look forward to going out.

Amazing!

This stroller is amazing! It’s the 4th stroller I have owned. I own dachshunds and keep them as a side job so infrequently need to walk multiple dogs but they need a break. This double stroller easily accommodates 4 of them comfortably.

Heavy but Sturdy

As other's have noted, this stroller is pretty wide and is quite heavy. That works for my hauling my two adventure cats around outside but it might not be ideal for use in stores, on public transportation or on hiking trails.

Great quality, large size

To start with the only possible negative, which isn't really a negative: Check the dimensions and think about how/where you'd be using this! The product is exactly as described, is plenty large and durable for 2-3 small dogs, but it is wide (duh, it has to be to fit multiple dogs). So if you're planning to use this to go in and out of small shops or restaurant patios, it's probably too big for that.

Great for Rabbits!

After buying a normal-sized stroller, I discovered that my two Mini Rexes were actually in need of something "wider" so they could move around comfortably. This stroller fits everything we were looking for! It has a secure door that offers some shade with its thick mesh, a very smooth ride with its jumbo wheels, and very easy to assemble. (I've yet to figure out the two settings on the front wheel and just keep it on the "jogging" setting I believe so the wheel doesn't wiggle.) And, of course, it has plenty of room for them to move and feel safe. They each weigh about five pounds, and the carriage area is more than four times the size of one of them!

Very good product

This is the second Pet Gear stroller I have purchased, so we now have both a single and a double wide. Both are of good quality and easy to use and handle (folding, putting in the car, etc.) The zipperless variety is much better for general use. It has a single latch at the front edge while the zipper connection seems so much more fragile. The only problem I've had is with the wheel attachment to the axle. In essence, a groove on the axle is caught by a spring-metal clip running through the wheel hub. It's easy to mishandle (or have it arrive in the box) the assembly so that the clip comes off the hub or no longer catches the groove in the axle, and there is no detail about the assembly in the instructions. Turns out it's a fairly easy fix, but took some time because it's not at all obvious how the clip is placed, as the placement is not visible and you don't want to break something fiddling around. The Pet Gear support team could only offer a new entire wheel for $25. I would suggest that instructions include a schematic of that assembly.

Beautiful Baby (fur) Buggy!

This pet stroller exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled with it. It is very sturdy and well made. It is easy to assemble; not much to do there, has a break, which is a must, and will turn on a dime. It folds for easy storage or travel in the car. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I took my dog for a spin around the house and she was fine with it. The stroller also has a protective cover for inclimate weather. This stroller is worth the investment and I couldn't be happier! Thank you Chewy for all the great products you carry.

For this price?! Disappointing!!

Left rear tire came faulty. FLAT right out the box AND ALWAYS STAYED FLAT. Needed to pump it EVERY time before using i.e. a 30-min stroll on a nicely paved road/sidewalks Vs. 20++ minutes of pumping with that tiny and ridiculous pump given. Very frustrating and exhausting.

This stroller gets 1010! After unboxing it, my cats immediately loved the fluffy liner. They purred as they kneaded the soft material. When I put them in, at first they were hesitant but warmed up quickly as they realized this was their safe way to enjoy the fresh air and see the neighborhood. It’s easy to maneuver and can be effortlessly steered with one hand. The front wheels lock to allow a faster pace. I even tried the stroller out on a trail and it took bumps well! You can easily collapse the stroller with one hand with the twist of a handle. It’s spacious enough for both my cats, and maybe even one more. Also, I was just able to squeeze it on our small boat and the cats loved being able to feel safe and experience boating with us! Love this stroller! Worth every penny!

Very well made

This is a very well made stroller. It is large - I wanted room for my 18 lb westie to be able to sleep comfortably and it's perfect for this.

wheel fell off

I have not used this stroller much due to the size. Recently my small girl tore a ligament and we’ve had to use the stroller in our house for a couple of months. Well, the wheel fell off the front and there is no way to replace it or fix it. Thankfully it fell off inside my house and with my dog inside!!! First we noticed bearings on the carpet and did not realize it was from the stroller. The bearing case is completely shredded. This stroller has had minimum use. It’s just been the last couple of months we’ve used it to help my girl get around in the house since she cannot walk. It was expensive. It only has a 30 day warranty. To say i am bummed is an understatement because my senior Dog now does not have a way to get around and be with me. Don’t buy it. My dog weighs 10 lbs.

The Friesl gives us lots of thumbs up

We chose this stroller because it's wide enough for two dachshunds (17lbs and 12lbs) who can't be apart.

Nice Ride...

Love this stroller from pet gear. This is my second one as I will be selling the single pet gear single stroller. I wanted this double stroller for more stretch out room for my 10lb. Maltese and 7lb. Toy poodle. They love going with me and love to lay down. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because I really miss the tray between the handle bars. Pet Gear does not put one on this stroller. That tray was great for my phone, keys and a drink. This double stroller does come with a not so sturdy, swinging, removable cup holder and 2 very small pockets on the back fabric part of the stroller. You would think for the price they would put the tray between the handle bars. Other than that it is a sturdy well made smooth riding and pushing stroller.

Large but great dog stroller for my 2 pups!

Although very large for a dog stroller but perfect for my 2 little corgis. We love it and they do too! Got this for when we go on vacation and go hiking to places like California or Colorado. It keeps our little pups cool and comfortable. Realistically the size is probably overkill for my two corgis (both around 10lbs) but is definitely a better option than a smaller single stroller or having to push two strollers. They can also both lay down comfortably in it without being cramped. It probably takes up the width of an entire sidewalk and would NOT fit easily in stores or restaurants. I love the wheels which are almost like small bike tires so its great when we go walking on the beach or on hiking trails. Assembly took about 5 minutes and was simple. Although it is large, collapsing the stroller is extremely easy with the single-button collapse function. It seems to fold up very nicely for how big it is.

Big but awesome

Very large stroller but perfect for 2 dogs. Got this for when we visit family in FL to prevent overheating and to allow them to rest comfortably if we go on a day trip. Realistically the size is probably overkill for my two dogs (22lbs and 12lbs) but is definitely a better option than a smaller single stroller or having to push two strollers. They can also both lay down comfortably in it without being cramped. It probably takes up the width of an entire sidewalk and would NOT fit easily in stores or restaurants. It feels very strurdy and the wheels are almost like small bike tires. Assembly took about 5 minutes and was simple. Although it is large, collapsing the stroller is extremely easy with the single-button collapse function. It seems to fold up very nicely for how big it is. The quality feels very sturdy and seems significantly better than my previous Gen7 stroller.

TERRIBLE SHIPPING PACKAGE

Let me first say - my 2 Frenchie's and I love this stroller so far. BUT....the box it was shipped in WAS NOT a shipping box! When it arrived 7 days later and not the 1-2 as advertised, the box was so destroyed it was more tape than box. The box it was shipped in WAS one that is used in a store - very lightweight. Along with using FED-EX. I'M surprised it made it here with only the latch missing. It should be packed in a heavier type cardboard -expecially for the price you pay . When the box/tape was opened all parts were strewn through out and thrown back into plastic bags. The box didn't hold up so Fed-Ex threw it back together ....but the part you wanted was missing...the NO ZIP LATCH! It had popped off somewhere in transit and was lost. I called the service depth at 3:15 pm Eastern time and received the ANSWERING SERVICE. They are to stay open til 3:30 so this was annoying. I called back on Monday and spoke to a wonderful REP. and 2 days later I had the latch piece that was missing. It DOES NOT SNAP IN as she stated but with some pliers I made it work. After several rides with the pups...they are 20 and 15 lbs......the front wheel does squeak, but we can deal that. The product should come in a different color WITHOUT having to pay $50 more for a Teal color as this color is more towards pink than burgundy. As I stated in the beginning we love taking them for a walk in the stroller and they enjoy it also. The tires need air before you use it- and a bicycle pump is preferred to the tiny pump that was included. Simple to put together also.

Buy this item

Received box damaged. All parts were there. Easy to assemble. Pump works but takes some time to fill tires. Eventually walked the stroller to the gas station to fill them. Now for the good stuff. Stroller rolls smoothly with or without my 60lb pit bull, Handsome, in it. Enough room for him to turn around completely in it. He loves it. After his first ride he wanted to get back in it. I leave it open for him to jump in when he wants. I lock the brakes and the front wheel of course so the stroller doesn't move when he jumps in. Very sturdy. Well built. Great design. Just an all around good stroller. Handsome also like the fleece padding. I like the fleece padding myself. The fabric of the stroller seems durable and low maintenance. No complaints about it. The padding on the handlebar makes grip and control of stroller easy. Fits through all of the doorways I've been through so far and shockingly in the elevator in the complex I live in. I receive plenty of compliments on this stroller. The weather protector was damaged when I opened it. The stitching around one of the side windows has come undone. Not a big deal. Very, very, very satisfied. So is Handsome. If you have a medium to large breed of dog, I would recommend using your leash in addition to the safety straps. Just push the leash through the opening by the handlebars and then around your wrist. Problem solved.

Pet Gear Double No-Zip Pet Stroller

I only recommend if you can lift the stroller and have room to store it. I sadly had to return the Pet Gear Double No-Zip Pet Stroller, it was way too heavy for me to lift into my car. I must say the quality of the stroller was excellent. I had thought I really researched the pet strollers, looking at sizes, weight, reviews and customer videos on the internet; I spent days researching. I decided to buy the Pet Gear Double as I have 2 dogs and I thought get the biggest and best even though I hesitated to spend the money. My idea was to use it taking them to grooming appointments as they are kind of out of control getting them in and out of the car and into the groomers and to contain them while waiting. And when traveling for when we stop for a picnic lunch it would be a way to keep the dogs contained and out of the hot car and off of hot pavement. I do crate the dogs in the car but you can't always park in a shady spot. I've seen people using pet strollers while eating outside of a restaurant and while window shopping. And even small dogs get heavy to carry around. Especially if you stay at a hotel and the long walks down the hallways and into an elevator my small dog gets heavy. I'm going to have to try a smaller and lighter weight stroller. So off to research strollers again. It's good to know that Chewy did pay for return shipping, that makes me confident to try another stroller from Chewy. I'm sad to had returned the Pet Gear Double as the quality of the stroller was quite good; it was just too big and heavy for me to handle. I also loved the color. I did not care for the pad that goes inside the stroller, the material was a faux fur which would be hot for a dog in the summer, I would had used a fleece mat instead. And the hand pump was useless, you'd need to go to a gas station to use their air pump unless you have one at home. The Chewy experts were very helpful and polite on the phone about returning the stroller.

One fine ride for doggies

I have had many dog strollers and I can tell you this is one very well made and an excellent handling stroller! Assembly was a breeze and I am 66 years old. You can load it with your dogs and operate it with one hand! I can also leash up my two younger dogs and still push the stroller with Dilly in it easily. Everybody gets what they need to have a good time. I have a huge 7 year old Yorkie (22 pounds), 6 year old Maltese (8 pounds) and an almost 15 year old MIX who is about 20 pounds. This was primarily for my 15 year old dog named Dilly (on your left). I noticed when we were walking on our 2 mile walk last week that Dilly stopped twice and had some trouble keeping up. He signaled me he needed to rest. The two younger doggies wanted to keep trotting along. I ordered this stroller the same night. I've been graced with 13 dogs to share my life with and every single one got something in their old age to help them. It is out of respect and my being grateful for their company. Ramps, strollers and me as their seeing eye caregiver to two blind dogs now in heaven. I am honored to present my Dilly (in the photo on your left) with this magnificent ride to insure he will NEVER be housebound. We all get every single thing we need right here on Chewy. I promote them and their brand to everybody. They've done so much for my family! If you need a stroller, don't buy a cheaper one that can tip over. Invest in this one-you won't be sorry. Delivered to my door in TWO DAYS!
