The cabinet is NOT 20 gauge as described. Not my opinion. From manufacturer. HD refuses to change in description. Since it’s aluminum it’s extremely flimsy. Unless your storing very low weight objects stay away.

Horrible quality. Cabinets arrived bent and scratched. I called Home Depot customer service and they informed me I had to return in store. Problem was I had assembled the cabinets and that’s when I noticed the damage. They suggested the store could pick them up and they emailed the store. No one ever contacted me. So I am not stuck with non-functional and damaged cabinets.

VERY flimsy panels. Doors are floppy, sides are floppy and shelves are floppy. All just due to how thin everything is. Construction is all held with push pins or joints, no nuts or bolts. Not what I was hoping for. I would not recommend this, especially for the price

Flimsy. Missing a door when arrived.

I paid for home delivery and once I started assembling it, I realized that it was missing the left door. I called Edsal's customer service and they stated that they would ship out a new door (contacted Edsal on 1/29/24), then contacted them again on 2/16. They had not shipped it and then I finally received the "replacement part" on 2/20 which was NOT the door but a random side panel. I contacted them again on 2/21 and am awaiting a second try at a replacement door. Overall, flimsy sheet metal

Just ok

I️ bought this cabinet to use in my home office to house my inventory. The size and look of it is exactly how I imagined it. The shelves are decent and will work sufficiently for what what I️ need them to do. The doors, however, are super flimsy. I️ probably wouldn’t buy another but I’m going to get use out of the one I️ have.

Cheaply made & Terrible

Terrible design. Cannot believe this flimsy “metal” cabinet was $300. Cheap metal that you could bend with your hands, we had multiple pieces break off of our during assembly. No screws, plastic snap plugs only that don’t securely hold it together. Pieces came chipped, dented, and bent. Not magnetic except the one real metal piece where the doors close. This was a complete waste of money and we would like a full refund to buy a real cabinet. Will never be buying anything from this company again.

Cabinet

Disappointed with the quality. Thin, cheap, not what I expected.

Cheap 24 gauge steel. The only parts that were 20 gauge were the shelf supports. The rest were 24 gauge. Cheaply made. Had trouble aligning the doors and then added more sheet metal screws to hold it together, instead of the plastic decorative cap fasteners. I will not be buying anything else from this manufacturer.

Pieces did not fit together as snuggly as they should particularly the sides.

Very sturdy, easy-to-assemble storage cabinet

My cabinet arrived without any damage. The shipping materials include thick honeycomb cardboard panels that protect the individual cabinet pieces. The instructions were easy to read, and I was able to assemble the cabinet by myself, using a workmate to keep the sides upright until I could install the cross members.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

This is the biggest pile of crap I have ever purchased from TSC. Aside from the damage from shipping, the cabinet is held together with plastic push pins! The entire cabinet is flimsy, cheaply built. I would NOT recommend this product to my worst enemy!

Works in my garage

Minor edge dents, not major or affected operation. I could live with it at the price. Packaging not damaged, so I’d assume it was done at manufacturing. No scratches or major panel dents. Easy assembly. Works for what I needed…basic metal garage cabinet for larger tools. Only comes in black.

Good-sized closed cabinet for shed or garage

Wonderful storage cabinet by Edsal. It is very tall at 6 feet, 36” wide and 18” deep. It was package well but be warned that the box is extremely heavy (about 70#). It’s best to have assistance with assembly. 2 shelves are fixed and 2 are included for you to place anywhere that works for your stuff. We made a narrow shelf up top for our paint cans.

Serves it's purpose, but very flimsy

The Edsal ready-to-assemble cabinet is a decent light-duty cabinet. It is very flimsy during assembly, but gains some sturdiness once fully assembled. You'll definitely want to watch the assembly video and have someone assist.

Edsal 36 in. W x 72 in. H x 18 in. D 20 Gauge 4 shelf aluminum Freestanding Cabinet in Black Is such a big help for me to keep my front porch clean and organized. Since I don’t have a garage this Cabinet stores so many of my items that I need for my garden. Plus it’s wide enough to store a blower too. It was very easy to put together with enclosed instructions. I’m so happy to have it!!
