after suffering in the heat all summer with a cheap window ac supplied by my chintzy landlord, i took the plunge and bought this. what a difference! even on the hottest, most humid days, i never put it above "low" and stay completely cool and comfortable. what a relief! wish i would have bought it sooner.

Ridiculous Restocking Fee

This combo unit did not heat our small studio space adequately so we decided not to keep it. The real problem was with the return. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us beforehand, this unit is not sold in stores so we could not return it for a full refund. We had to pay a $70 restocking fee! Unhappy to say the least.

I would buy it again.

I bought this in June 2021 and 2 1/2 years later it is still running strong. I use it in the summer to cool the house and in the winter to heat the house, so basically it runs every day. I have 2 gas heaters for supplemental heat that I only turn on during peak electric times of 4pm and 8pm. Other than that, this is my heat. My house is about 1200 sq ft. At night I also use an electric blanket and have a small electric heater in my bedroom for super cold nights that rarely is needed. I would buy this again for sure. It does shut off and on automatically when your desired temperature is reached so that helps. It has a remote control. I have also used it to dehumidify in the summer which works great too.

Worth the money

This was bought for my son’s room that I added on. He has used this unit now for a couple of weeks. It has had no problem cooling 230sf. I haven’t been able to tell much of a change in my electric bill since using this as well. Seems to be very energy efficient. I will update review when we use the heat. So far it has been worth the purchase.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect for tiny window In a small room.

I put this thing in a little tiny room in a tiny window that barely fits I mean I didn't use none of the side plastic just foam to get it to fit. It turns on and off when energy saving mode is on It pushes out plenty of cold air My wife literally walks in and shuts it off every time she's in the room. If you set it at 66 without energy saving mode you will wake up with your bones cold.

It went in my son's bedroom. He seems happy with it. It arrived fast and well packed also easy to set up.

Perfect for small room

Came very quickly and was as advertised. It was easy to install in my 12x12 insulated shed. Set it for 75 degrees and it worked very well and turns itself on and off to maintain temperature. Dry quiet and just what I neede$ for my little work shed.

The owner's manual was very complicated it does not explain all the controls on the remote Or unpacking the air conditioner and what should or should not be taken out as far as What you should remove from the inside. It says To remove the unit from the casing to remove packaging material to get it out but it Also says that it may not be necessary on all units but does not say which unit you have to do that to. It keeps cutting on and off and we're not sure if that's because of the package you know the inside or a setting that we have on that shouldn't be we don't know because nothing is explained To where you know what you're doing. Also there we tried to call the service number customer service number That was on the manual and there's nobody there after friday until Monday my guess that's assuming that there's no holidays in between Monday and friday you should have some 1 on call for emergency to talk to someone Because not everybody just buys a/c units on weekdays. At lease Please have a video online YouTube so that you can see someone start from the very beginning opening the package doing everything you need to do before you put it in the window or whatever but it should be a video from start to finish. The owner's manual on my air conditioning had about 10 or 15 different models for that 1 book and it doesn't, Say what the difference is models. So I had the end of giving you a middle grade because I really don't know if it's actually working correctly or not but just the fact that it took a so long to figure out how to get it in the window and what was it wasn't to be taken out and we have not taken the air conditioner out of the caseing to check because we're afraid we might mess something up we don't want to do that,

only had a few weeks so still early but blows cold and heat works well also. Received it with a crack in front but its just cosmetic and was probably from shipping. I like that the screen doesn't stay lit up constantly because the lit up numbers draw my grand kids attention to the buttons on my last unit.

Good Air Conditioner Bad Shipping

The machine itself works great, however, the shipping brought this thing in banged up badly and as a beginner to installing something like this I did not appreciate the very limited amount of instructions. The image for some of the screws are wrong and I found that out the hard way. I even had to buy some extra screws to set it up correctly.

Smooth and Quiet

The machine runs quiet and smooth. It does a good job of maintaining the temperature you set with one exception: The one thing I dislike about it is the fan will stop running when the thermostat temperature is reached. This is unlike any other window air conditioners I've ever used. The stoppage of the fan causes the room temperature to rise quickly.

Noisy

It works perfectly, but its just too noisy for me.
