Room darkening panels - 120Lx100W

We have a very wide and tall west facing window in an upstairs bedroom. Summer temps routinely reach over 100 and the bedroom cooks. These extra long and wide panels provide enough insulation to keep the room cooler and hot days, and while they do not block all light, they filter it sufficiently to sleep in a little on the weekends. Overstock processing and shipping were fast. Overall am very happy with purchase.

I bought 4 of these panels to cover an entire wall including 3 joined windows. When I open them they slide to each side completely away giving full view outside the windows. The drapes therefore stack on the blank walls at each side of the windows. They are an attractive shade of grey as shown in the photo. They fall smoothly and fold luxuriously. They do darken the room considerably but if you need complete blackout you may want to put blinds behind them. They have done everything I needed them to do and I am very happy with my purchase. They make my master bedroom look quite finished.

This was my first Overstock purchase and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and my experience. I ordered these curtains because of their extra long length/extra wide width. These curtains are a lot thinner than I imagined, however will completely blackout a room in full sun. Since it is winter in Colorado, I can also tell that these keep heat in a room on a cold snowy day. The fabric is soft and has very little texture. They are heavy enough and feel like quality curtains. It's a bonus that these are sold in a pair, which can be hard to find at this price point. I was so happy with these that I ordered another set to have in another room. They are a bit wrinkled when out of the package but steam very easily.

I purchased these thermal blackout curtains to at the top of the stairs in our townhome. we could go directly from the garage or outside right up the stairs into our living room. Very convenient, but VERY hot! Everyone knows heat rises, and we live in Texas. The husband and I began to brainstorm to see how we could keep the heat from going upstairs and our electricity bill from going through the roof. We decided to use a 2" wooden dowel across the top of the opening instead of a curtain rod. THis way we would be able to fit tighter to the ceiling. The opening was high/tall which is why we decided on the 108 inch length. It was perfect! The difference in the temperature from the top of the stairs to the living room when we walked in was substantial. These curtains did what we needed and then some. I shared the information with other folks that were upstairs as well.

beautiful!

I initially purchased similar panels elsewhere. they were white on the backside, so looking from the outside in, they did not look very nice. also, it was a wide window so I initially purchased 4 panels at a very high price. after I saw these, I was so pleased that they were extra wide, so I only had to purchase two panels instead of 4. this saved a lot of money! also, they are the same color on the front and back, so they look lovely from the outside. I bought the orange ones, which was a pretty color. not really burnt orange, but not a bright 'childish' orange either. very sophisticated, nice smooth texture. very heavy and good quality, and provide excellent blackout for a guest room with full sun. A little light comes in over the top of the curtains, the only thing that would prevent that is a box valence over the top. excellent purchase! My designer was impressed with them and apparently did not know that panels were available in double wide width. also, they seem to be wrinkle resistant, I hung them up right out of the package and all wrinkles were gone after hanging a day. the label says they are machine washable.
