Elama NonSlip Hanger w/ U-slide - Broke on 1st use

I purchased a box of the Elama Non Slip Hanger with U-slide in White and Black - 50 Piece. I hung several shirts on them and the next day I went to remove a shirt and the hook fell from the hangar. I called Elama's phone number and asked how the hook was fastened because to me it looks like it might have been glued? She did not know. My concern is how many of the other 49 in the box will do the same thing after a few uses. Will I eventually find I received 50 defective hangars? Other than that the hangar portion looks good and appears it will be useful for hanging different types of garments.

I purchased the 50 pack in white with black rubber. I've had them for about a month now (so fairly new). The below is based upon my current experience with them. If something changes in the future, I will update my review. Likes: • Solid and not flimsy • Black rubber grips are a great feature. I have non-slip hangers that are not supposed to slip (those velvet ones) and yet they do with some materials. I've found that this rubber actually helps it not slip for most materials I own. • Size accommodates older children to adult sizes • Color is white and spot on (not a cream) • The hook is a true swivel hook and that for me is a plus! I have others where they broke at the hook due to any potential twisting on accident (I have kids). • The design is clever because it accommodates all size shirts without over stretching the collars. • I love that these include hooks for strappy items like spaghetti tanks or bras. • I love how they remembered to place the rubber grip at the bottom of the hanger for things like keeping pants in place. Dislikes: • Price. I feel these are quite expensive for only ** and is why I am rating this 4 stars. Noteworthy: I haven't tried to see how these hangers hold up with things like heavy jackets nor have I tried hanging something silky on it to see if it slips.

Exactly what was needed

These were perfect. Lightweight and durable. And I like the grip on them so that I don’t have to worry about items slipping off the hanger.

Perfect Hanger

I was becoming really frustrated with those plastic tube hangers that are sold everywhere. My shirts kept falling off! I decided to make a change and found these on Lowe's. I compared them to the hangers that I had and noticed that the top of the hanger is wider and more horizontal, allowing the shirt to not slip off. Also, there is a rubber coating with ridges that holds the clothing on. I bought a lot of these and am redoing my whole closet! This will eliminate my problem and keep my clothes from getting dirty or wrinkled because they've fallen to the floor. Highly recommend!

New hangers after 20 years

All the hangers arrived in good condition. I recently switched all my clothes to the new hangers which take up half the room of my previous wooden ones. I particularly like how my clothes don’t slip off.

Saves so much space and looks amazing.

Good grip

O.K., I use two at a time because I cannot find wide hangers with the rubber grip. They hold well and fifty should last a long time. Not sure what the cut in under the hook is for. Maybe ties? Seem strong, but I am not hanging heavy clothing, mostly special shirts and sweatshirts.

Perfect - slim and lightweight!

I like the slim profile and lightweight design of these. I also like that they fit easily into clothes with smaller neck openings. I received a great quantity for the price, too!

My favorite hangers!

Easy to slip the neck of your clothes through the cutaway on the hanger. Avoids stretching the neckline or having to slide the hanger through the bottom of the garment. Slim design saves space, non-slip strip keeps clothes in place on the hanger.

Superlatively designed!

I never thought I’d take time to review this sort of product, BUT the u-slide design feature is amazing. My husband bought these just to have a different color hanger than all of mine. The u-slide allows one to insert a t-shirt from above the hanger, using the u-slide area to avoid stretching the neck. It’s actually quite a bit faster, as one doesn’t have to fumble blindly to bring the hanger up from the hem. Anything that makes laundry faster, whilst preserving my clothes, is lovely.
