very attractive and unique lamp

I love the style of this lamp, which combine a traditional shape with the modern chrome. It's a nice weight and easy to put together. The only think you might not like is that the chrome shade directs the light straight up and straight down... not much to the sides.

The first one I received was damaged but I was sent a replacement and really happy that came ok. Love this lamp. It is a classic staple!

Perfect match to my existence furniture as hotel

I ordered a pairs of this chrome floor to match my existing chrome frame furniture. Its turn out perfectly. The actual item has good workmanship that looks like the pictures online.

Good Lamp / Bad Packaging

Pro: The lamp is as described online and seems to be attractive enough. Con: The packaging. The extreme styrofoam packing is so over-done it's ridiculous. It made a HUGE mess in the house in spite of being as careful as possible. I recommend that you unpack this item outside or close to a trash dumpster.

Ordered this for my son's room (age 19). Very sleek and modern. I am very pleased with the quality of this lamp. It makes a statement. Really could be used a number of places in the home.

Beautiful piece, many compliments. Provides adequate light with white reflective lining inside the shade. I'm not sure if this a painted or powder coated item, we will see how it holds up. Well worth the cost. Great brand.

I love this floor lamp. Take note of the height of it— but it is absolutely perfect. The brushed brass shade is so high end looking — you won’t be disappointed! Love the fabric wrapped cord and the floor button to turn on/off. Completely satisfied.

This lamp is stunning. I love the simplicity of it. I looks perfect in my dining room. I high recommend it. Don't like the cord though.......it's silver. Why?

Seriously, don't even take the time to read this review. Just but this lamp! I buy everything online. I have never seen a lamp packaged so beautifully, it was amazing! This lamp has a mirror chrome finish from the ultra heavy and substantial base right up to the solid (and beyond gorgeous) metal shade. I was holding my breath to see how this shade would arrive, as one dent would ruin the entire look. No worries there though, this shade was packed with a custom Styrofoam insert before it was wrapped in heavy plastic, to assure it was arriving in perfect condition. Less than 5 minutes total time to put it together once it was unboxed. The addition of the bulb was a nice touch as well, thanks! This lamp has a slim ultra contemporary profile and the base weigh is very heavy. No tipping here! The shade is a beautiful depth as well, it's not overpowering at all and the reflection is gorgeous! Just remember when attaching the support that holds the shade to unscrew the white ring that holds the support in place. This lamp looks like I spent $ on it and I will be looking for the Jonathan Y brand in the future. This brand just found a customer for life! Thanks for introducing us Overstock!

Has a great look...from a distance, The pole is 2 pieces that screw together, and the finish of each piece does not match. The shade just rest on the top so it jiggles every time I walk into the room. Otherwise, I like it and will keep it.

Very pretty goldish brushed brass color that looks great in livingroom. Looks better in person than in photo online. Exactly what I wanted. Perfect height, not too tall. Easy to assemble. The on/off control is on the floor. Written assembly directions need to be corrected for misspelling of insert as “inster.”
